How did Toby Bedford look? I still see him as a tantalizing prospect with his goal kicking ability combined with his aerobic capacity. He has played well in all the practice matches so far.

Yeah match fitness maybe, but he is a stay at home full forward with plenty of experience. If he can be plonked in the goal square for Casey next week then he can for Melbourne too (if his knee has no issues during the week).

Lachie Neale is having a poor start to the season.

Bedford will get a shot back in the seniors soon enough. ANB and Spargo would want to continue to play well.

Played a half for Casey and seems to have impressed. Could he play next week against the hawks or does he need another hit out in the VFL?
