Since 2022 when Narrm begun, 1 win and 4 losses. 1 win against Roos in first game as Narrm.
-
Big loss. Better now than later I guess. With Lever out, Hore and Turner injured, would it be worth changing Howes role to get him more involved as the interceptor role? Seen him take some good grabs but been quiet last few games.

Love Rowell and Anderson. Best of mates, loyal, push each other to get better and turning into great players. I love how they are so humble. Reminds me of younger combo of Petracca and Oliver when they started to make their mark on the game.

I agree on Salo and Rivs going through the midfield. Salo looked good in there before he got injured and Rivs doesn't seem to be going in the midfield much at all this year, which I think we are missing a trick here He's strong, fast, evasing, good foot skills and wins 1 v 1s. I think they've done well to get Kozzy to play more minutes, but need to get more rotations with different players, I'd like to ANB in for a few too, as he just puts so much pressure on opposition players. 36 inside 50s was apparently our lowest count since 2015, according to AFL Match Day, dark days stuff.

Please reward Woey with starting in the 22. Thought he was amongst out best. Only one of few that looked composed.

6. ANB. 5. Kozzy. 4. Fritta. 3. Judd. 2. Woey. 1. Chin.

If 2021 was an asterisk year then why did every team even bother play that year? Disrespectful to Melbourne's Premiership team and rest of the competition. Let's just put an asterisk to every year we don't win the premiership while we're at it then.

Reid has to be one of the strongest 18 year old players ever. Cannot tackle him.
-
Schofield, you don't play for the Eagles anymore. How about some impartial commentary?
-
Can we throw Rivers in the centre please?
-
Trac has improved a lot with his set shot, credit to him.
-
Get around him, McAdam!!!
-
What's with all the no HTB calls?
-
What a freak, Reid!
-
Looking for a strong, fast start. We know Dees have been finishing matches strongly, but too much left to do in matches we've lost from poor starts. Looking forward to McAdam's first game for the mighty Dees! ❤️💙

Good player, but a dirty and arrogant player.
-
Love Geelong losing, and a good old flogging is the cherry on top.
-
I'd like to see - in: BBB and Kolt. Go smaller with focus on forward half pressure. Trac CHF for most of game, Rivers and Salem rotate thru centre bounces.

It worked well at the start and I believe the Dees adapted the best to this rule when it was first introduced. I found the change to allow the player to be on 'mark' outside 5 metres has clogged it up again. The player now can move around to take space for short kicks and it reduces players running past to get handball receives and forward-over-the-mark handballs that generates speed on movement. I don't really care personally but just an observation as this goes against what AFL wants - less congestion.

If I remember correctly, Rivers played mostly midfield last time we played them and absolutely nailed it.

6. Petracca. 5. Langdon. 4. ANB. 3. Rivers. 2. Windsor. 1. May.

Look at the positives, as they are always some if you look hard enough. No need to waste your existence on negativity and irrationality from the emotion of a loss, always the next game.

Umpiring (Demonland in meltdown)
Lexinator replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah, I agree, it was bad in the first half. Being an umpire would be a very tough gig and officiating based off interpretation of rules and what they have in front of them in a split second. We don't have a game to watch without them so can't crucify them all. Anyway, was highlighting the JvR tackle as my interpretation. Many calls and non calls went both ways, as does every game, can't win them all, all the time. -
No disrespect to Eagles, as they've improved, but need to blow out a few cobwebs. Reverted to bombing it in too much tonight and connection moving the ball was very stifled. Good chance to stamp down on how we want to play heading into the 2nd half of the season.
