I’ve been a Weid knocker but I hope he absolutely smashes it today. Only a few games till finals. This is his chance to keep his spot.

I think we need another tall up forward against the dogs. Weid, M brown or JVR take your pick.
I’d go melks out for one of the tallsTomlinson out for a small. Bowey back or a debut from Laurie

I have feeling Jackson and Gus are gone.
Gus id be surprised about if he did end up leaving. He was here for some crappy times and now the club is better, he’d want leave (if he does) -
They keep going through the middle and we are just non existent there. Most of their goals so far have been them coming through the middle. Trac and Oliver keeping us in this atm

Are we playing who can hold the ball the longest?
get rid of it on the first option. May might as well have not played at this point.

Franklin only has a year or so left
They have McDonald, McClean and Armartey as their next key forwards… surely we can get one!

He’s the nephew of my work colleague and from what I’ve been told Geelong are very interested in him. Seems to be doing pretty well from what I’ve heard

I’m craving a different side this week. I don’t mean in’s and out but mainly a different look. I’d love Trac more up forward and Gus in the middle. Something different, he’ll be hungry in there. Rotate him and Trac or Trac and Viney. Change it up through out the game. Doesn’t always have to be the same. We literally kick out towards the left side of the ground from a kick in. Mix it up. We are becoming if not have become so damn predictable. We’ve lost our run from the backline. Our goals last year where mainly from the run and carry from the backline. This year we mark it on our defensive 50 and stop… the Oppo have time to man up then we lose that privilege of being in control and it now becomes a 50/50 contest
Richmond of late will chip around their defensive half then boom they’re off.

Call me crazy and i'll no doubt cop some heat over this but....
Although he doesn't have the elusiveness & skills on his left side, nor the aerial acrobatics (yet). Is also more likely to be played as a small forward / occasional mid rather than an attacking HB.
In the three matches i've seen Moniz he reminds me just a tad of something akin to a very very raw Gavin Wanganeen. While i'm in no way suggesting he will have the sort of career Wanganeen had, this kid might be heading towards something pretty special (in his own right). Very early days though of course.
I must say I’ve really been impressed with Moniz

I’m probably being dramatic and probably still have trauma from previous years of going for the dees but if we don’t show any case of hunger or looked absolutely pumped for this big clash then I feel like we may not get it back this year.
after the last few weeks of losing, the may and melks and then the scandal’ if it can’t drive the players to go ‘stuff this, let’s show the comp we are the best l team’ then I don’t know what will bring it back.
but anyway go dees! Haha

I know he probably isn’t ready but I’m just keen to see van rooyen on the big stage!
also would love maybe hibberd/rivers in and Brayshaw play in the mid, Viney forward and maybe rotate
We need our big forwards to bring the ball down and actually have small forwards at their feet. It’s obvious we aren’t marking anything in the forward line due to our delivery inside 50 so we need our smalls there! We need our pressure game back and Gawn/Jackson outside the 50 waiting for the pressure kick out. Our pressure is really letting us down as we give our oppositions backline to much time to switch sides so they avoid our Ruck waiting for the kick out.

Because we are on top, have a generational team that just won the flag and our crowds are so poor that our best player has noticed.
Did they really think winning a grand final would change so much?
we missed out on so many generations of kids picking the dees… we need a lot more success over the next few years and decades to get us more fans.
we have an older age supporter base and if They’re like My nan who’s in her early 80s it’s just to cold.

I don’t understand why we are under the pump? We are averaging like the 4th most home attendance?
That’s after getting Gws on a long weekend and playing st kilda at 1pm on Mother’s Day-

I never get bored with winning and have a look at our percentage after round 10, we weren’t playing well but still winning comfortably. We are still a game and percentage clear but need to knock off the confident Pies.!!
Of course you never get bored but it hasn’t been the best style of footy that gets you up and about. We just get the job done.. well we did and we will again

Our games have been boring this year. Even when we were winning it was ugly football. 100 handballs to kick a goal..
That kozzy goal against gws gets the crowd going!

Since this one is an away game, will the cheer squad be at the ponsford stand end or the regular spot in the Warne stand?
Always Ponsford stand at away games unless we play away against Collingwood as they sit their on home games

What time does the pre game ceremony start? Mfc has 6.55 and Richmond has 6.30?
-
One of my favourite moments was when Steven may had two spoils in a row in front the mcc stand. When he got the first one nearly every single player jumped with excitement, fist pumped and ran over to him like he kicked a goal. We are still hungry as and I love it. Also, So many second efforts - kozzy, sparrow so on. Bring on Richmond!

Exactly the same issue and I tried both a barcode from last weeks ticket and my membership number and it didnt work
Called the club and they gave me the barcodes I needed. It’s not good enough. It makes attending a big away game stressful.
why is the club even sending out an email 30 mins AFTER the tickets are on sale?why not a day or two before

It seems GA tickets aren't available for the Richmond game until 10 am tomorrow, and watch the price gougers kick in, surprised if anyone finds tickets under $60
Members pre sale went on sale at 2pm today got email at 2.30pm and it says to use my barcode but my barcode isn’t up there…
I really hate this new system

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
in Melbourne Demons

6 years is a long time but for real how good is it that players want to stay with us? Few years ago they’d seek elsewhere. We’re a club they want to call home for life. On ya gusssssy
