Reports from PS3 in Cairns stated that PJ came off with what has variously been described as an ankle injury or a hip injury. The latter would be a bit ominous because he did have a hip op off season. He did come back onto the ground so it seems likely that it's a precautionary rest and hopefully nothing more.

I can confirm that was talking to Pj on facebook and he says he rolled it in cairns so he is having a week off

I think so, he has very good hands and also is surprisingly one of our more dangerous kicks of a football.

I think we all need to stop bringing up us not recruiting cousins, there is nothing we can do about it now so we may as well forget it.

The most concerning thing is that we may have to do a West Ham United in the English Premier League and wear our numbers on the front of the jumpers because we have no sponsor. That is the most concerning thing, as well as the fact that the Melbourne Fc board is quiet as usual which gives no hope or even optimism.

New photos are great however one thing bothers me. The lack of a sponsor makes our tops look like the cheap fake afl tops you buy in target.

Hey guys the good thing is with Spencer our next game is against Sydney and their ruckmen are only just starting out too which will only help his and our development IMO.

I agree with Martin up forward he is tall and can take a grab. ALso I feel with those defenders he should be up forward.

However I would like someone to put forward on my behalf a proposal to change the design of the Demon mascot that walks around before the game.

You know the one, hes the one who looks like a scary yet smiling man from the 70's with a pencil mostach, with a big red head. Its truly terrible, have a look at the essendon hornet thing that they have got, clearly more appealing to kids.

In its place I would have something like the Havey comics 'Hot Stuff' character, for those of you not familiar with the character he is a small child devil who is from the same company as richie rich and casper the ghost. Obvioulsy we cant completley rip him off because of copy rights and that sort of stuff, but something similar would be better

We are already a laughing stock of the afl world I dont think we need our mascot in a diaper to make things worse.

For some reason seeing all the others teams have intra clubs and have serious injuries come out of them I am starting to get very worried the same might happen to our players which is the last thing we as a club need.

Real Estate why don't we go after a sponsor like that. They are sure to have some cash and as far as I know no sporting team in Australia is sponsored by a real estate company.

Carlton intra-club match seems to be going along swimmingly.

Stynes also asked all members of the crowd, before the meeting started, to turn around and introduce themselves to the people sitting behind them and in front of them, to show that Melbourne is one big family.

Stynes and co will no doubt cop some flack from some but I think that what he did there is a great example of what he is trying to establish at this great club of ours.

Like MFC and its supporters, Connex trains dont turn up particularly when you need them, their on track performance is variable and they dont like it when its hot.
