Dean Terlich for mine has been consistent in a woeful side all season.

Although Dean Kent is a favourite of mine I love watching him play and I think given a couple more pre seasons will become a very good player. I don't use the word star as it is used far too commonly on this site.

Byrnes kicked 1.6 - terrible return no doubt, but it means he was in a position to score at least 7 times. We and he ought to expect better, but I don't think it is reasonable to be overly harsh. He could just as easily have walked away a hero tonight; more than can be said for most of our players in most of our other games.

Anyway, we played ok and should have won. Amazing how that feels bearable these days; I guess it's all relative.

Still leaves me shattered even after all these years Woey leaving but makes me love him even more that he doesn't hold grudges against the MFC only Daniher. As for Scully I truly do not care he will never win a Brownlow or tear a game apart so at best he is a bit part player who can play a role at GWS and we got more than enough compensation for him.

Legitimately the only positive to come out of this year is Jesse Hogan.

Mitch Clisby Dean Kent and Dean Terlich are pushing as positives but Hogan is far and away the best news we have had all year

Yeah I only meant this year for Fitzy to get experience up forward until Hogan is ready ... I feel next year we will have clark dawes hogan and fitz passing through there aswell we desperately require one/two crumbing forwards because with these huge units if they dont mark it they definitely will not be outmarked often. Fitz/Gawn at worst can switch with Jamar in the ruck and forward when needed

NO way should we trade Jamar ... I agree gives us nothing around the ground .. however I believe we need both him and Gawn in the side .. Gawn can use his leap against some ruckman but he also gets belted by the strong bodied ones. If we have both it means that we will always have a ruckman who is capable of at least competing with whatever the opposition team puts into the centre bounce... This also allows Fitzpatrick Clark (when/if he returns) and Dawes to stay as permanent forwards. This is particularly important for Fitzy as it will allow him to learn his position a lot quicker.... He has 2 years left on his contract so we should utilise those two years as best we can.

I choose to believe in a forgiving god who will keep our young one free of injury and all the nay sayers and dooms day supporters who seemingly cannot just latch onto one positive thing from a rotten four years in the deppest pits of footballing hell.

Stuff this keep a lid on it bullsh*t I for one am over the moon we have finally recruited a player who can step up to his tag. He is a powerhouse and I saw him play against North Ballarat and he tore them a new one. Just keeps getting better. Another pre season more weights and used to being around the Melbourne boys will be so handy next year to make his transition smoother. We are onto a winner here and I swear people only say keep a lid on it because they have been hurt before with picks... Well safe to say 5 months of solid form is enough for me to say we got this pick right.

In my opinion I believe that if we get a pp it should have to be used on a 17 ala the mini draft, That way we have to develop them for a year. Therefore we gain no unfair advantage by being able to use the player straight away and we also get a look at how our new development team is working. If we blow it again then we have absolutely no reason to ask for any more picks.

Frawley for mine. He has proven himself at the football club. Dawes needs time

I love the banner too.. it is classy although I agree I would love to see Garlo on it. I think his form deserves it.

God will you give the kid a break for god sakes it's his second (or third) VFL game and he has fifteen touches to half time. He's not a 100 game player being demoted and not getting a kick. Some people just need to relax.

The most annoying thing with JW is he is without doubt our best kick of the football. Consistently hits targets ... I just cannot understand why he is so soft. Hes not a small player he just needs that aggression .. I say stick him with Mitch Clark and Chris Dawes for three weeks and make him follow them in the weights room , on the track and even get Clark to rag doll him at training to show him what is required, Maybe that might work I don't know but it's better than nothing.
