First of all I am not a JW hater but I have to say this .. HE WAS NOT A SPARE MAN on Sunday .. after every goal he had a direct opponent and yet he never stood with him. If he was supposed to be loose man then who the hell was meant to take his opponent. Not at any time on Sunday did was he standing by himself when the ball was thrown up in the middle and I was right behind the goals so I could see that shocking beard from a mile away. Jack was like every defender on sunday ,... lazy and soft

Team for this week ... 22 players who want the BALL. No one out there except Viney and Jones wanted the ball badly. Grimes got so many cheap handballs it wasn't funny so I can't say he demanded the ball. That's why we were killed out there. No desire to work hard and no desire to run hard. I don't care who we pick as long as they realise its football and not a friggin walk on the beach with the mrs.

Also in regards to Magner's shot at the supporter about jobs .. If we are bad at our jobs we get fired .. simple as that ... these guys have a full year to get better and most of them haven't.

You know what ? Im with the supporter 100% its about time these morons who pull on this jumper are aware of how much hurt they are causing us as supporters. Why the hell would you tell the world you're off surfing two days after being humiliated in round one. Yes I know he didn't play but if that were me, there is no way I would be out surfing. This is why our club is a running joke .. what the hell do we stand for? Magner always bites back at supporters maybe he should be more worried about getting into a side that is pathetic at the moment rather then checking his twitter/instagram at the beach.

We as supporters are paying good money for memberships to watch this crap that is served up weekly, I think we should be able to express our disgust. They are in the public eye and are old enough to know when to not bite back. The supporter didn't have a dig at his family or anything bad so why act like a child and have a rant. Im so sick of this club accepting mediocrity and I think that the coaches should have flogged the players every day or at the least made them go into the football club every day this week for serving up what they did on sunday.

Before anyone shoots me down I am one of the most passionate demons supporters on the planet. I have never lost hope but is anyone else a little more worried about tomorrow's game against Port Adelaide. The suns have won the bulldogs smashed Brisbane and GWS did not disgrace themselves against the premiers from last year. Those are the three teams tipped to finish below us. I only hope that we show something tomorrow against the power otherwise we could find ourselves being beaten quite convincingly by these teams this year.

As I said do not shoot me down as I will be barracking as hard as ever and this thread is not to say we are doomed. I only say I am a little worried that so much may hinge on tomorrow's showing against the power. I also realise it's round one but the suns and giants showed a lot in the pre season and we rarely win round one and are chasing butt all year.

New year same old crap once again unable to stop oppositon teams kicking lots of goals in a row against us

We obviously need to start winning games to gain respect .. However the things we need to work on straight away are stopping the absolute blowouts.. Losing by 15-25 points doesn't get anywhere near as much criticism as losing by 10 + goals. That is the thing we need to eradicate this year.

I would love Woey back because well he was my idol haha but other than that I would like Jeffrey Farmer running around crumbing in our forward line... Clark and Dawes (eventually Hogan) if not marking the ball bringing it to ground and Farmer there to swoop.

I may be shot down for this but I think we should play James Strauss on a wing. I don't think his defensive capabilities suit a role in the backline as yet but his kicking is such a major weapon and even if he may make a mistake at least it's going into our forward line instead of the defensive 50. It would encourage him to run both ways and I think he is capable of kicking goals from outside 50 which is something we have struggled with at times except for Lynden Dunn,

Bugger him. He chose to leave for a team that will eventually be easily able to replace him. He could have stayed and developed his game rather than being a player who is supposedly more developed than the younger players at GWS therefore possibly gets less time put into him as he is considered a senior player. I hope he looks back and realises he made a silly decision to leave and learns from it because he was a young kid who had millions of dollars flashed in front of him and I don't give a crap what he says .. he left for the money.

Gawn by the length of the MCG. When he plays he influences games if and that's only if he can get over his injuries then I truly believe we will have an absolute weapon on our hands.

Nev Jetta for mine. Mentioned a fair bit today and I reckon after an injury free pre season he has the tools to be a find for us this year in the clint bartram role.
