The AFL 2025 Fixture
I love arvo footy, I'm 75 mins away and night games get me home past midnight. I used to love the big games now I much prefer a weekend game at I.20 with small to mid range crowds. I don't like booking, I like rocking up 30 - 60 mins prior, grabbing a seat with a companion, these days my kids, who are now both loving the footy and then kicking back. Humans, cues, being packed in.....yeh, nah, no longer interested. I did go last night but bar the third the game was pretty meh.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Next test is Hawthorn in a fortnight. Need a good win against WC. Tempting to take Campbell across and rest Max as much as possible to have him cherry ripe for Meek. No VFL game again is poor timing. Fritsch is miles off it and Iโd be trading him on current output. JVR or AJ, Turner and Melksham back in, Fullerton, Sharp and Fritsch out.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
No because at his best he reads the play well, finds good position and kicks beautifully

No idea what will happen tonight. Expecting an entertaining game but in reality Iโd like to win by 120 points

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
If we play like we did last week Fritsch could have a field day if heโs playing deep forward like Koz did last week to great affect.

Once again Morris is likely full of ๐ฉ

Noah Balta - Sentencing
Thatโs likely the worst argument Iโve ever heard for not putting someone in jail

Does he have any power to make things difficult?

Noah Balta - Sentencing
Iโve no idea of the breakup of types of crimes that end up in jail. What I do is these violent attacks are all too common in Australian society. Maybe if we gave these guys 3 months in prison things would change. Iโm not pretending to know the answer but whatever weโre doing atm isnโt working. Just say Balta was jailed for 3 months, a reasonably high profile sportsman, does that save others from being king hit and then repeatedly smashed in the face??

Iโm not enamoured of him but could easily see him become captain. Wouldnโt be a bad thing.

Itโs not about basic understanding, I understand the law and in plenty of cases I think it sends the wrong message. I get we do t send first offenders to jail very often but maybe if we did people would stop beating on others. Baltaโs attack was way out of proportion to what he was apparently defending. 3 months in the can would get people thinking and likely save a few from being assaulted.

We can create a nice little โus against themโ vibe. Maybe we should just win the flag, thatโll shut them up.

Noah Balta - Sentencing
Maybe if we jailed them the thuggery would ease up some

The blood bayers! Seriously? He demolished the guy. Iโd have put him in jail. Imagine going out for the night and ending up in the wrong side of that beating? This guy could easily have hit his head and been killed or handicapped. There's no place for this. Our society is way too lenient on violence in my opinion. Donโt get me started on violence against women/wives/partners. Send them to jail and see if that reduces the violence.

This is good news. Goal umpires train by bending backwards and looking up at the sky with arms outstretched.

3 - 6 months jail would of been an appropriate punishment
