  1. We hold all the cards in this deal. Freo about to get karma waved in their bthci faces
  2. Roost it far replied to Romey's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    ok
  3. If he leaves and we get great compensation then that’s footy. We hold the upper hand over the next 2 seasons and if we can get George on the list who knows.
  4. We’ll beat a half strength GWS at the G and roll Geelong, Freo match the kicker, 6-0 for mine or 5-1 if Geelong or Freo get us. At that point the media will be talking about Langford as the rightful pick 1, Johnson being a master stroke and Oliver as equal Brownlow favourite with Petracca. Side articles will include Gawn and Mays durability, Windsor’s total lack of second year blues and Lindsay’s 32 possession 3 goal debut in Round 3 as the best played by a first year player. Even Salem will get an article about his lack of thyroid issues, his beautiful kicking and living with his partner and 2 dogs. Demonland will contain more superlatives than Rojets Theasaurus. It’ll be party time from there onwards.

Feel for Todd Marshall, good player who could be great if his body would hold up. The Dee’s have had their fair share of those.

Worldwide experience suggests that once a city goes beyond 5 million people it starts to really struggle. Transport delays, infrastructure and services all come under too much strain to keep up with the expansion. Add to that pollution and it doesn’t bode well. You only have to take a drive and our once manicured parks and our roadsides you’ll see the weeds, long grass and rubbish building up. We’ve spent all our money on big projects rather than cleverly offering other alternatives. I’m just about to buy up near Bendigo, a beautiful city with all the services at easy reach. City be gone!

    Coming from you that’s laughable

I expect a lot of your relationships ended like that.

You can still train with a cracked rib….don’t panic…..yet!

I did find the news around Daicos excellent

    Fake news
  13. On this we completely agree. Let’s get Roy on the list asap.

I think Caulfield ticks all the boxes. Plenty of room, we end up with first class facilities equal to other teams, plenty of supporters live within easy reach and it puts to bed our homeless state. Whilst it feels 50 - 50 it’ll happen if it does I for one will be quietly stoked.

I think the shoes are a serious issue.
  16. Fritsch needs to stay close to goal, it’s pretty simple. Inside 40m with even slightly better ball movement he’s a weapon. If we want to have him influence games we need to move it a bit quicker and lower the eyes into the 50. Not all our inside 50’s need to be like that. We can still kick it long if needed and we’re set up defensively. But when we get a faster break he’s rarely in the wrong spot. He’s a 2-3 a game goal kicker in these circumstances. Calling for his head was at times warranted last year, his second efforts were abysmal and third efforts non existent. I’m expecting a much better year this year. If not, realistically who’s his replacement because McAdam is a long shot and I think Melksham can play alongside him if his form warrants.
  17. In other words he’s safe as houses
  18. It was but you were annoying me 😘
  19. Collingwood on top……I’ve got money to say that doesn’t happen
  20. It’s nothing to do with where the team finished and everything to do with his standing in the team.
  21. Chandler came 8th in the Bluey yet you’d prefer to hang your hat on a untried hunchback with questionable attack on the ball…..got it!
  22. Tholstrup will be in the 22.
  23. Sacked for giving his honest opinion? I’m not sure that’s ideal. You and I aren’t going to agree on this. What we do agree on is we both want Jeffo to have a great season and help our forward line. Let’s leave it at that. Happy for you to say I told you so in 6 months time.
  24. Jeffo can’t cover for or let Max have a rest. Jeffo doesn’t attack the ball like his life depends on it. Jeffo is an average VFL player who can’t dominate at that level. One of his coaches commented as such. I’d love him to succeed but what we need is a forward who can attack the pill like his life depends on it, I think Johnson may be ahead on this score and he can pinch hit in the ruck leaving JVR as a permanent forward. Structurally I think he’s a better choice IF he’s good enough.
  25. More than what has thus far been provided. If he’s not careful a guy picked at 68 will jump ahead of him.
