I cannot believe people still want to draft this bloke. I would rather have a shot at Picket than a bloke that threw in the towel last year and played out the season in the NEAFL. His output overall does not warrant $600 -$650 K per season and if Carlton think it does they are delusional. The bloke is a bust.

I read on some random site that today is the last day to enrol for the National Draft and the Pre Season Draft, does anyone know if this is correct.

Hope he gets his $1mil and then decides to leave in 2 years.

I read it differently. To me he was telling GWS if you want Jackson before Green you had better stump up a better offer for pick 3. He wrapped Green up as well as Jackson, both players GWS are very interested in. Prefer we just bid on Green because if they don't match we get the 3rd best in the draft, if they do I hope we take Young then.

Wouldn't say no at the price. Worth a shot.

Well that was interesting. From a comment that could have been made up for all we know to our senior players not having their mind on the job because of a comment that could be BS. That will do me for a Sunday arvo.

Yeah not the one I was talking about. There is one from Geelong stating they are favorites to get him. that goes with this and the Dees one.

Nothing like that but there is an Instagram photo of him in a Dees jumper floating around that has his hashtag showing he liked it. No such comment on the Geelong tweet about him.

I thought we had asked him to come and train with us as from the 3rd December. That way he gets paid [by us] and no other club can sign him. We would have first dibs. Same situation as Stack for Richmond. Have things changed?

I don't see what changes if we put Jackson in the forward line. I can see what could happen to forward line delivery if we drafted Young.

Just for his price in Supercoach 2020 it is worth the gamble.

Wanted a 2/3 year deal but Port only offered a 1 year deal going by my mate in Adelaide. Be okay for us I would think.

People should listen to Jason Taylor on The Road to the Draft. Brings things into perspective regarding Harley. Sounds like there is more water to flow under the bridge.

Best kick in the draft, would be the best kick in the team if drafted by us. Presently ranked in the top 5 of this years draft. And we are linked to a ruckman ranked mid teens. Oh I hope that information is so wrong, I hope we take Young at 3. [after we bid on Green.]

If say the draft goes like this, 1 GC, Rowell ,2 GC Anderson, 3 Melbourne Young, 4 Adelaide Flanders,5 Sydney Serong, and none of those clubs have called out Tom Greens name then GWS can go for instance sake, 6 Jackson, then Freo at 7 [or any club from here on] select Green, GWS can match that bid with the rest of their picks and also go into deficit on next years points to secure that player. That would be the end of their drafting for the night, but why would they care they have 2 top 10 players in this draft. Adelaide supporters are confident they will bid on Green, so GWS will want pick 3 to get another player before Green is bid on.

Do not want, Hoping another small forward from SA that got a low ball offer registers as DFA. Better value IMO.

I am still in hope that Sam Gray registers for DFA after Port offering a reduced contract to him. 2 years should be enough to help us out and with a bit of luck Deakyn Smith will be good enough.
