  1. jackson looked a meter out of bounds when he took that mark
  2. can;t decide which of these two teams i dislike the most
  3. Great news
  4. I think we should cut JVR some slack. He still young and having the play the KPF1 role with rubbish delivery. definitely worth persisting with in my view
  5. We’ll need to keep some experienced heads around to guide the youngsters but anyone else who we do not think will be in the team for our next flag should be on the table.
  6. Hawks fans i know would prefer if there was less hype. they are still a young team so would rather keep the pressure off for as long as possible.
  7. They recruited very well and have a coach that has devised a game plan which optimises the skillset on his list.
  8. I think its both players and coach our skills are appalling. when the game was contest and defence we could compensate but now our glaring skill deficiencies are laid bare. we have started to address and added some very good users to the list but theres still plenty of work to be done. And goody looks like a dinosaur. so does Voss for that matter. the game has moved on from their gameplan. A new coach is badly required with the attributes to deliver a modern gameplan. I reckon Yze is the one that got away.
  9. Goody deserves respect no matter what happens. He is a legend of the club for ending our drought. The cliff came quickly for us. This list isn't winning anymore flags so i hope the powers that be recognise this and make the changes necessary to set us up to challenge again in a few years time. And i know changing a coach is a big call but I think the game has moved on from Goody and i don;t think he has it in him to re-invent himself. I think a new voice is needed.
  10. A competitive loss is the best I expect. On current form could well be a 50-60 point loss
  11. toby bedford playing well
  12. As much as i hate to say it, hawthorn are the real deal
  13. things have been off for at least a year
  14. robbed? we belted them out the gate of Optus Stadium
  15. i'm not looking forward to this game
  16. His confidence is very low no doubt. But I believe he can get his form back and start contributing again and kicking goals
  17. 4 years was not smart. Not smart at all. Maybe his leadership qualities will be valuable during a rebuild but in terms of on field contribution, I’m not confident we’ll get much value. Hope I’m wrong.
  18. Fritsch stays. His form is horrible but he’s the only reliable goal kicker we have
  19. We’re cooked. Well and truly. Expected a response. That was not acceptable It’s going to be a long season
  20. We have some good young players. Langford and Lindsay. Kossie (if we can keep him), mcvee, Windsor. We have a top class recruiter. Time to trade out 1-2 top liners to bring in the picks. Trac the obvious option. He doesn’t want to be here anyways. Can’t wait until tassy come in. Worse time to bottom out. Has to be this trade period. And bring in a new voice to coach them. I’m very appreciative of goody but the MFC comes first.
  21. We need a new coach. And best to move on some senior players to bring in some picks for JT to use
  22. It’s the senior players letting us down here.
  23. touk miller the classiest player on the ground today
  24. Definitely crossed the goalline after the hooter went. What is the rule. He had kicked before i reckon
  25. Bowser having a great game
