Trac's goal. no question. The execution, Kozzies sheppard, Trac's death stare after he nailed it.

Great scenes as Jack Viney shows his Demons great dad the premiership cup
-
I reckon our performance from midway through the 3rd qtr in the the GF was the footy equivalent of Blitzkrieg
-
Have a home base. No idea how close we are to getting it And an AFLW flag. I'd love to see Daisy and Paxy win one before bowing out. Reckon we're a great shout in 2022
-
The poster who insisted he should be traded hasn't been heard from in a while. I can't remember his name
-
The bloke restructured the footy department, stuck fat with goody, brought in Yze and Williams, finally delivers a prem and you reckon we’re successful in spite of him Did he turn you down for a job, steal your girlfriend or kill your family pet?

I was a doubter at the end of 2020 but his goal kicking improved dramatically. Now a dead eye in front of goal. Great news that he has signed on for 5 years
-
People forget they finished 5th on the ladder. Rolls Royce midfield but defensively suspect. Unless they find some better defenders they can't win imv

Now that we’ve won the premiership in the men’s
BDA replied to Cassiew's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
I reckon the ladies will be inspired by what the men managed and will bring home the AFLW flag this year. They are definitely good enough to do it. What odds we win both mens and womens flags in 2022. We'd be the first club to do it. That would be amazing -
Richmond may well have one final yelp left in them. I won't be surprised if they are there or thereabouts come the pointy end of the season. That said, no question the Dees are the team to beat and will be warm favorites to go back to back
-
This doesn't seem like a group that will rest on its laurels. We'll have a better idea after rd1 Barring a bad run with injuries i expect to finish top 4 and have another solid crack at the flag
-
Trac's Norm Smith performance in the granny was as good as any. Almost topped Simon Blacks possession record. On a par if not better than any of Dusty's efforts

I doubt anyone gets belted in the back of the head more than Maxy. That thug Nankervis being the primary culprit. He never flinches, never goes into his shell, never loses his cool. Just gets on with the job. Legend

Hugh Greenwood jumps ship to North Melbourne
BDA replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nifty move by North. The Suns wearing the dunces hat. Again. Disband them or pack them off to Tasmania- 56 replies

Strange circumstances but a great opportunity now for Oscar McDonald to resurrect his career

The club was very badly run for a long time. There must be plenty of people with legitimate grievances out there. Junior is an obvious example. But the grudge is against the people who treated you badly not the club itself. 99% of people can tell the difference and I think that’s why there was an almost universal outpouring of joy from past players when we won. We all love the club but not necessarily the people who have been involved with the club

That was as comprehensive a finals series from a premier as i can remember. This team should win another 2 flags imo. I'll be very disappointed if we don't win another
-
I reckon the one we win in front of the faithful at the G will go close
-
Given the speed at which this process is moving I reckon this thread will outlive us all

EVERY ANGLE: New look at Dees' flag-winning burst
BDA replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Complete misnomer. The angles were the same as every other time i've watched these goals. That said, gave me an excuse watch again which i don;t mind at all. -
Genuine point of difference. Effectively an extra midfielder at the center bounce. An absolute beast of a player. Immortality beckons

As soon as the fixture comes out i'm putting a circle around the date of our game v West Coast at Optus and start organising my flights and accomodation (hopefully no ongoing border issues but you can;t be sure with McGowan). It'll be a pilgrimage of sorts, visit the hallowed ground of Optus, pay my respects at the final resting place of the Norm Smith curse. And i want to lord it over the West Coast natives Outside of the G i can;t think of a more appropriate location to end the drought than Optus. We buried the Norm Smith curse and exorcised the ghosts of 2018 in one go. September 25th 2021 was a beautiful night.
