  1. I hate Collingwood but I can't hate Pendlebury.
  2. Short definitely. Hopper maybe. Dusty is close to the end so he'd have to turn back the clock. Broad is a decent defender so would help repel the tide. So overall yes they would be improved but not sure how much difference it would make tonight. Pies bad goal kicking keeping the Tiges in it.
  3. Well if the Tiges aren't capable of giving the pies a game I hope the pies give them a belting.
  4. Pies should have at least 3 more goals but for bad kicking. Tiges hanging on by their fingernails i reckon
  5. 3 posters already for the pies. They should be well ahead
  6. Pendles caught HTB. That never happens
  7. gather and finish by bolton outstanding in these conditions
  8. Nothing they can do about it. Players aren't contracted. The women's seasons don't overlap so they can head home to play inter county after the AFLW season is finished. Every so often a promising young male player heads down here which causes some resentment but it's rare. Very few people begrudge these players the opportunity to play professionally. And most end up returning home anyways and have the professional training which is a big advantage. Tadgh Keneally was noticeably fitter and stronger when he went back to win the All-Ireland with Kerry. Likewise, Coor McKenna. He was a big reason Tyrone won the Ireland in '21. So there are also benefits for GAA teams when the Ozzies return.
  9. Surprised TMAc was dropped given Gawn isn't playing but he can have no complaints. I like the unpredictability. Keep the Swans on their toes.
  10. Reckon I’d prefer tiges win this one. Pies building up too much momentum
  11. BDA replied to sue's topic in Melbourne Demons
Another reason to dislike McClure. Fake News
  12. What I’m most looking forward to this weekend in order of preference (aside from our game of course) 1. JVR debut 2. The Western Derby #deathride (would be no.1 any other weekend) 3. Geelong going 0-3 (more of a wish this one. Come on Suns)
  13. Yikes. Hideous deal. That’s a sackable offence for a list manager
  14. The move to the doggies seems to be working out for Oscar Baker. Playing with more confidence than he ever did at the Dees. Good luck to him.
