Give him 5 years on top dollar. He's worth it
-
Pressure and scrutiny are a fact of life for AFL coaches. Develop coping mechanisms, build resilience and ignore what it said in the media. And if it's getting too much then choose an alternative career
-
The opposition having a plan to beat us is all good and well but paraphrasing Mike Tyson. They all have a plan for us until we punch them in the face
-
Delighted she's going around again. Proved this year she still has enough in the tank and her leadership and smarts will be required if we are to land that elusive premiership
-
Great initiative by the club. Leading the way again. Feels like Nev Jetta should be involved. Hope he returns to the club someday

When was the last time you watched Melbourne lose?
BDA replied to Big Col's topic in Melbourne Demons
Same as. GWS game. Toby the terrible and poor goal kicking done us -
Different swans in the second half. They obviously got a serious bake from Longmire during the break
-
It's a little off topic but i thought it worth a mention Port and GWS are starting to show some form. Port knocked off the Saints last night who are a rival to us this year. GWS have Geelong and Carlton up next at home. You wouldn't bet against them winning those 2 games We've already banked the points against Port and GWS when they were playing poorly. Our rivals will have to deal with them when they are playing better. Another factor which is working in our favor
-
Why don;t they make Brisbane and Gold Coast play in Cairns? It's in their state after all
-
Kossie kicked his goal of the year contender in this fixture last year. An amazing goal we belted them. Wasn’t reflected on the scoreboard because of our inaccuracy

Will Max Gawn ever be recognised as the best player in the league?
BDA replied to Cheap Seats's topic in Melbourne Demons
He has standards and sets a great example for the rest of the group. Look at the physical condition he is in. A lot of hard work goes in to building a tank like he has. There aren't many players in the league can get up and down the ground like he does. He just keeps improving as well and has added goal kicking to his repertoire. Another AA jacket on the way and most likely as captain as well We're blessed people -
Totally obnoxious. The Hawthorn fans seated around me were fine but those flogs in the standing area were hard to listen to
-
Bedford deserves the opportunity to stay in the team after his performance today. If Kossie or nibbler aren't 100% to go next week then he should stay in
-
That was a slog. I wouldn't say the Saints shot themselves in the foot. If they tried they would have missed
-
I want Port to win this. Knock some of the wind out of the Saints sails before we play them
-
6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Trac 3. BB 2. Bowsa (he will play 300 games for us) 1. Viney
-
Very good win in the circumstances Full credit to Hawthorn. They had a red hot go. Would have won if they kicked straight Loved Bedfords game. Showed real bottle to slot his goals. He's ready to step up, no question Clarry Gawn May very good. Viney got plenty of it, bowsa is a gem and and BB was as dependable as ever We'll get our full compliment back next week and beat St Kilda. And there'll still be posters complaining in the post game thread Go Dees

You appear to have a new variant of MFCSS. Rather than being miserable when we lose you’re miserable when we win.

Fair play Toby Bedford. Been excellent today
-
Maxy has perfected that kick
-
Soft free to bb there. We’ll take it though
-
Hawks are off a 5 day break and have gone hard in the first half. They’ll run out of gas. Just need to up it a gear and we win for sure
-
A lot of sloppiness in this quarter
-
Uncharacteristic lever
-
Tmac padding stats there. Should have let it through
