  1. Glad we kept Freo's pick. I'm looking forward to the death ride next season
  2. I hope he finds a nice Melbourne girlfriend
  3. North have picked up 3 good players so far
  4. I suggest Daisy and Mick Stinear holding up the cup
  5. It does refer to the Ladies senior football All-Ireland. She has won 4 with Dublin
  6. Eat plenty (soakage), make sure you get plenty of water on board and take 2 paracetamols before going to bed. Makes a big difference
  7. As long as he shows up Day 1 with the right attitude and willingness to learn and work hard, he'll be fine. As a supporter that's all I expect and can reasonably ask for. And the best players have belief. I've no problems with him aiming high. Nothing wrong with a bit of swagger as long as has the work rate and attitude to match.

Saw this thread bob up again so assumed JDG was up to his old antics. I'll be surprised if he avoids any assault or harassment incidents before next season starts.

Is it? I didn't vote Liberal in the election. My in-laws (Dees supporters) didn't either. Middle and upper class just as likely to vote labor or Greens nowadays. I agree with this. We've wasted enough time as it is. Find a location in the inner suburbs and just get on with it

We've won ALF, AFLW and VFL flags the last 2 years. Maybe we don't need these facilities as much as we think we do?
  11. He compared himself to Naughton and Curnow. Aiming high. I like it. Believe in yourself son.
  12. Welcome to the MFC young man. Best of luck
  13. You've just posted what i was thinking
  14. These young lads speak very well for their age. I don't know what I would have blurted out if I was interviewed when I was an 18-year-old
  15. Would like to see him sign on the dotted line. Don't want a will he won't he distraction like we had with Jackson last year
  16. Paywall so don’t know her reasons. Is she from WA originally? More money? I don’t understand the appeal otherwise. she should stay with us and remain a one club player. Try to win another flag. She’s still good enough to go around with us for another year or two at least.
  17. I'm loving the aggressive trading strategy. Knock the Dons and Dodoro off kilter. Personally, I'd rather hold our picks, particularly Freo's pick (they'll go backwards this year) but JT is a genius and has my total faith.
  18. haha. I figured you were Rab. All good
  19. It's a touchy subject Rab
  20. I looked at the replay up to the point the camera cut away. I doubt the kick had the legs to make it but would like to know as well
  21. Reckon we can do the double next year. AFL and AFLW flags. That would be some achievement.
  22. In hindsight the build-up suited us perfectly. All the talk was about the Lions. Took the pressure off us and heaped it onto them. They were not at their best today at all. We shut them down and they had no response. I think they got complacent. Delighted we beat them after all the carry on with the venue (which looked pretty good i have to say. Just not enough capacity for a granny) We've been winning premierships for fun recently but none at the G. Really want us to rectify that situation next season
  23. Daisy speaks so well
  24. Play the granny at a neutral venue every year. Avoids home town umpiring and this farce of a presentation
  25. who cares. we have the cup (would have given it to West or Purcell)
