Tough start with Cats Lions and Roos first 3 games. Need to hit the ground running and win 2 of these if we want to ensure home finals. i think the newer teams will improve again. bombers, Sydney and suns will be improvers. i don't think us, crows, Lions and Roos will dominate to the same extent as previous years.

Very few people care about the Rebels. The majority of the attendees were ex pat kiwis or south Africans that came along to support their team against the Rebels. I guess the idea was to create a rugby union storm equivalent in Melbourne. Storm have done a great job by being well organised and successful on the field. Rebels were badly run and hopeless on the field.

The only time I have an issue with us playing boring footy is when we lose. Winning cures all ills. and I’d get tired of free flowing footy pretty quickly if we were losing all the time.

Gold Coast were ordinary against Carlton last time out but they’re a different proposition at home. I reckon they’ll get the job done against the bombers. I certainly hope they do.

A lot of talk about the pies game. Don’t we have the small matter of freo in Alice to deal with first.

St Kilda are terrible. Outside of king and marshall I can’t think of too many of their players I’d want us to trade for

Great to see a dominant 1st quarter. We've been too slow out of the traps recently. Set shots better but still room to improve. we were 4-9 at one stage but thankfully found our shooting boots after that. Good last quarter from Clarry. he hasn't been his normal beast mode self recently. hopefully that's the springboard to return to top form. All in all a good days work at the G. Go Dees
