I’m a bit surprised that the bookies have the cats as favourites. $4 with bet365. We are $4.20, dogs $5.25 and Port $6.50.

I’m jumping on this bandwagon probably more selfish than anything. But if we get a home game against Port or the Lions and def think Hobart is worth considering.

Yeah I saw that with 3 at the Gabba and only one at the G so hopefully they are right. Swans have tough games over the next 4 weeks but capable of winning them.

I’m not sure I’m happy that the lions dropped points. I’d rather see them in the top 4 come finals than the Swans. Think lions would be a much easier game at the G than swans I think. I know that to go all the way to a flag you have to beat the best teams but I think if we get the double chance and win our first game we will win the flag as it means we will be better rested and fitter than any other team. If we lose first week of finals and have to play second week we might lose a bit of of fitness edge against a team that had the extra weeks rest.

Play vanders in the first game to rough them up.

I haven’t been following the footy for long enough( because I immigrated not because I’m young) so haven’t got the deep hatred of certain teams of fans that normal dees supports have developed. But after tonight the Bombers can go and get stuffed( for want of a stronger word). The dirty cheating shower of cheats. Their fans were awful tonight. Great quarter. We really stood up and lifted our intensity. Should be winning by more. We normally a good last quarter team but I thought we looked a bit tired in the last few mins. Hope we can maintain same level for last quarter. Cmon Dees

Wasn’t able to watch the game live so watched the replay yesterday. Very different beast watching it without all the emotion of watching it live. I had already read a lot of the post about weeds so kept a close eye on his game. He had an almost game for me. Jumped for lots of marks but they didn’t quiet stick. I still think if he’s given games it will click for him in the coming weeks. I think he needs to be man managed a bit, some of his defensive efforts were very lacklustre and maybe needs a kick up the [censored] for that. Also needs to develop a better understanding with our other forwards as they seemed to be going for same ball a fair bit and blocking each other. I still think he can be a big player for us this season. Langdon out is a big loss. Super consistent for us this year and we might be best to rotate a few players on the wing. If we bring in a small defender then Rivers could spend some time there, so can Tmac when max hoes forward.

We played poor and that made it much closer in last few mins than it had to be. I don’t normally like to put blame umps but Jesus Christ they really need to have a long hard look at their performance in the last 2 mins. Muck pure muck

Top 2 has to be the aim but given the teams that are likely to be in the top 4 there’s a reasonable chance any top 4 finish us provide us with our first final at the G. Top 2 does mean we are not as concerned with where other clubs finish though.

That’s a big shame, Max’s form has been down the past couple of weeks and now he’s without his apprentice.
