Nick del Santo is just a shocking commentator.
Yeah I reckon, so painful.

Seriously got stitched up by the umps.

Should be an immediate four points to Melb.

Positives:
No turnovers.
Backline kept the opposition scoreless. May and Lever anchored us well.
Hussle around the packs and pressure from the mids and forwards didn't allow them to touch the ball at all.
Bombers are absolute knobs.
Negatives:
Conor McKenna.
We didn't score.
We struggled again with that mid forward connection and couldn't get the ball inside 50 once.
Tom McDonald to cop it again this week after not clunking a single mark.
Thoughts?
Very clever.

Mckenna was probably at the rally like the other tools that has meant restrictions are back in place.

500k player according to Ricciuto. I would say a 500k player at best.

Oh didn’t realise that.

The silence is deafening with KK, I honestly think we’re keeping him on the list because it makes little difference either way to us and at least he then has access to doctors who can help him. No updates at all over the last 6-8 months surely means little progress is being made.
Probably correct. I’d imagine he will be one of the first delisted at the end of year.

We have been a crap side for so long. It would be great if we consistently played finals and gave supporters some sustained success.
-
Maybe we need Omac as apparently Joe Daniher is a big chance to play this week.

Switch off after the 7th goal is kicked for the match... that will warm you.
Will do.

I didn’t get to see the game today. Do I bother watching a replay?
-
Well we certainly have a lot faster team compared to last year. Let’s hope they can do something with the ball too.

They talk up Weitering. I’ve seen him play some horrible games. I wouldn’t want the ball in his hands too often.
Martin and McGovern two of the most inconsistent players going around.
Anyway time will tell.-

From having a dodgy knee.

Unless there are any hiccups between now and Saturday then he’s a lock.

I think I know why lever is missing training. Looking at the soccer tournament video Lever had a dirty great big ice pack on his knee.
-
I would just play him. What have we got to lose? Even if not fully fit, I would think he would be better than our 22nd player such as spargo or Bedford.

I used to see a heap of Melb games in the late 80s onwards and it was so much more entertaining than today’s footy. I never thought I was say this but I actually haven’t missed football that much. Last year I would often find myself falling asleep on a Friday night during the 3rd quarter. Players don’t get a chance to use their flare and skills. Too many structures and tactics which I reckon some players don’t understand.

As long as they don’t drop the mark and it becomes feee balling.

Quite refreshing to see someone turn their life around and get serious about things. Hope it continues and he can carve out 100 magnificent games for the Dees!

I’m tipping some of the players enjoyed being in isolation and having time away from Petracca.

Pittonet as Carltons number 1 ruck. I’m smelling Gawn having a monster afternoon and lead the dees to an 80 point win.
