Bartlett and Mahoney should be sacked for offering that contract to Goodwin. Calling it now, Kozzie is a bust.
It’s early days with Kozzie but early indications are concerning for a high pick. Fumbles and doesn’t kick goals.

Watched this last night put me in a better mood. It really shows a contrast in how the game is played between "generations" take me back to the games in the early 2000's any day of the week rather than the circus which is the modern AFL.
Yeah that’s when footy was great. You forget how good the skills were on Yze.

Someone explain what Smith and Wagner did to get a game this week.
Wagner needs to be delisted at seasons end.

We have talent in the top 10 players then it falls off a cliff. Lots of list cloggers.

Season done.

Callum Mills a late out for them
Hayden McLean in.
Mills has actually been pretty good this year so that’s a big out.

This could be messy tonight. Season will be officially over after tonight.

Bit of a mess with team consistency. King for saints has been confirmed as playing.

Injured or dropped? Surely injured.
That's a shame as we lose an option up forward.
Dropped for being late to training

Did anyone hear Max on AFL 360 last night? His knee was iced up yesterday. He didn't sound at all confident of playing on Saturday but I'm not sure if he was just joking around; its always a bit hard to tell with Max.
Needs to pass fitness test today.
Whether he is ready or not I guess he has to play as this is literally a real do or die game.
Max certainly didn’t fill me with a whole lot of optimism.

All I could glean from the match report was that he 'stood out with his speed' which is encouraging I guess.
Let’s hope he’s improved since the last time I saw him play. His disposal was very suspect.

On the other hand. People get injured in these tackles because they have their heads smashed into the ground. It's obviously a differently executed tackle if someone does it and avoids smashing the head into the ground. Is that just sheer luck or technique? I don't know. IMO it should be erdadicated from the game. I don't remember seeing wing sling tackles like these that the older players carry on saying they were all ok back in the day.
I agree the tackle should be outlawed. Why don’t they just make a clear ruling on the tackle independent of the injury it causes.

Luke Dahlhaus just got a week for the identical tackle that ANB got 4 weeks for, with one exception, the victim wasn’t concussed. That is pathetic, in that penalty is now decided not by intent, or legality of action, but on any injury that occurs.
Punch a bloke in the face, which is an illegal act, but if victim not injured, result is a fine or 1 week.
This is ridiculous.
AFL now more concerned with staging.Totally agree. It’s crazy how injury impacts the suspension. Everyone is made differently and some people are more susceptible to injury. If you slammed 100 people into the turf with the same amount of force each time I can guarantee not everyone will react in the same way.

We can see that we still are a bit off legimate top 8 sides. We need to focus on 2021 get games into Rivers, Bennell and see if Bedford, Jordon and chandler can show something
Out Tmac, Harmes, Spargo, preuss, sparrow
In rivers, bennell, bedford, jordon, gawn
Tomlinson to follow in Ryder for second ruck
Yep good idea. Even if we do make finals I’d be amazed if we do any damage.

I'll be surprised if Jones comes back, quads aren't 6 day injuries, and his punch suggested more than just cautionary tightness.
Harmes has been very poor down back, although I'm unsure if they'll drop a senior player. Id like to see Rivers take his spot.
Bennell will come in for Sparrow if Jones isnt right. His disposal at least adds a point of difference. Also, any other change options will result in reshuffling (ie Omac in, Tomlinson to the wing).
Gawn back if fit. I think Preuss has given us more than TMac has the last two weeks, so i'd drop TMac and try to use Gawn or Preuss forward of the ball.
Melksham has been terrible but does keep generating scoring opportunities, so will probably hold his spot.
Out: Sparrow (inj.), Harmes, Preuss/Tmac
In: Bennell, Rivers, Gawn,
Why don’t they revert back to playing Harmes as a tagger? Seemed to work.

I know Bedford is playing as a forward but he has great endurance. Could he play mid for sparrow? Or is this something for the future years?

Oh please no. With the standard of footy 28 games will be torture.
