if we finish bottom, compromised year or not, surely Goodwin hands in his contract and resigns. We have no excuses. No injuries. He has rebuilt the team as he wanted and in my opinion destroyed a lot of Roos’ good work.

It still staggers me how these people with supposed mental health issues are continually into the drinking, drugs or hang around with the wrong crowds. Get rid of those 3 things to start with and I’d say it has to help your well being.

Surely AVB won’t be right. I thought he was meant to be out for 12 weeks. 

I don’t want to get too excited just yet as it often leads to disappointment. If he does get going he is the one type of player we need more than most. We don’t have too many naturally skillful players in our side like him. 

Apparently we recruited KK thinking his concussion issues were resolved and they weren’t. Maybe I’ve been burnt but I would be afraid the same would happen with McCartin. 

Wouldn’t touch him. Would be a bad influence on the team and can never get on the field anyway. 

What’s the point in getting heaps of the ball if you lack basic skills and turn it over. Then players are out of position and scoring on the transition is easy.
Skills are king. 

Maybe we could change this to ‘list changes’ instead.

Seems amazing we have so many coaches and they don’t fix the most obvious problem from last year. Bombing into the 50. 

We obviously still haven’t fixed the issues about kicking into fwd50. Maybe we will have the whole year to work on that. 

That’s good because I stuffed my supercoach team up.

That’s true. Let’s hope pre-season form carries on into the season proper. The only thing better than beating the eagles, is betting them with a stadium full of eagles supporters. 

Hope we win but realistically it’s probably going to be a 30+ loss. 

It was quite interesting. Nice to have a sporting event without being drowned out with music like the big bash.
