  1. Is the game still at 7.50?
  2. Pointsbet offering $3 on Dogs win 1-100 pts and Bont at least 1 goal. Giving money away.
  3. He’s very crafty Mitch Weid’s Last Stand, starring Charlie Sheen as Weid
  4. Always Balvenie liquorland had a 10yo Aerstone for $40 which was quite good
  5. You can blame Morrison for item 1, not the public service. Everything else follows from that as does his abrogation of quarantine. “ I don’t hold the hose mate” Remember that
  6. Can you explain the rationale for blaming the public service?
  7. The SA report just released - as I understand it - pointed to the lack of adequate ventilation, as well as delivering food to + and - cases at the same time. In that case, someone with the virus opened the door to get their food, and due to l In this case there is an logistics/admin issue - delivering food to +/- at the same time - and a facilities issue re: no negative pressure to prevent contaminated air escaping to another room. It would appear impossible to control for the human error aspect here particular when considering the infectiousness of this and its variants. In the absence of being able to properly manage the human risk, the question to be asked is - what is a better approach to manage this continued risk. I still think high density CBD quarantine where as we have seen things keep breaking down is the wrong model and dedicated FIFO staff at places like Howard Springs is a more appropriate solution. Take your last point but of course it is not possible to disprove it until we try it. Current system keeps failing. Try something else.
  8. The Federal government has direct responsibility for quarantine and border safety. Someone with a constitutional law background can fact check that. The Federal Govt could - and should - establish Howard Springs like facilities and direct all inbound arrivals to be directed there. Again, fact check that w.r.t to Cth quarantine and border responsibility. It really is that simple. It is evident high density hotels without the requisite required ventilation is inadequate. I think your last point is partly correct - insofar as where a properly built facility sits.
  9. All you over 40s in Vic, you can now get Pfizer, even if not 1a/1b. No excuses now, except if you don't want 5G New World Order chips in your blood* https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/victoria-covid-live-updates-melbourne-braces-for-lockdown-as-health-officials-await-overnight-case-numbers-20210526-p57ve7.html?post=p528uq#p528uq *I'm just kidding.** ** The chips come down in the chemtrails.
  10. Root Cause Analysis: quarantining in high density CBD hotels is the issue here.
  11. I'd have thought the website would be really clear what secondary contacts need to do... https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites#what-you-need-to-do
  12. Does Vic have a centralised/mandated business QR system like we have in NSW?
  13. Just fact checking this - is the assertion that this lockdown was caused as per above? My understanding is that someone caught Covid from the Adelaide quarantine hotel, tested negative on exit, came to Mel and away it went - the Wollert person. So, again, root cause analysis. Poor quarantine. It's a stretch to blame hesitancy w.r.t to the AZ clot risk - the psychology is completely understandable. I'd tend to blame the management of quarantine, vaccination acquisition (ie why don't we have more Pfizer/Moderna), messaging particularly re: risk. It's very easy to blame one person, but it's not the right target. Unless I am missing something here.
  14. You aren't suggesting Game of Mates is at play are you RN! I'm shocked - SHOCKED! Let's not forget Pfizer and Moderna mid last year came knocking and said how much do you need (apparently) and local mRNA mfg capacity was raised early last year....
  15. Probably useful to draw a distinction between AZ and Pfizer. CSL apparently are producing 1M doses/week in AU. I think I read another 500k/month coming in. They are not all being used (apparently). GP clinics (in NSW at least) have ample AZ due to the hesitancy. All of which to say anyone over 50 could go and get AZ right now without issue. The mass vac centre in Mel has ample spare capacity at present, as of 3 days ago. Anyone under 50 could also get it, should they wish to do so. Pfizer is another story - I think I read that another 20M are due by end of year - that doesn't help now obviously. Elderly, disabled, 1A/1B need doing first. Doesn't help those under 50 who wish to get it obviously. I think I read Moderna have 20M coming before EOCY with another 20M Q1CY2022.
  16. The issue is, I think, that Pfizer is not open for all under 50s yet, is it? In NSW, Pfizer is open to 40-49, even if not in 1a/1b and obviously for all 1a/1b. Also to family/close contacts (baby sitters etc I think) of health workers. I think it would be a very poor look if AFL players not in those categories got the vaccine ahead of the general population, especially vulnerable groups who remain unvaccinated.
  17. More likely to Sydney I would have thought or perhaps Gold Coast? Depends how this week’s impending lockdown goes I guess At some stage the AFL is going to have to consider a no jab - no attending policy (once Pfizer is open to all under 50s)
  18. Please do some research
  19. He's not reinventing history - that is all a statement of fact. And here we are, mRNA mfg will now happen onshore.
  20. Could you provide a citation for the above please?
  21. In this day and age with 500 channels per broadcaster there's no reason not to.
  22. In NSW, flights are met and screened by public health. That's the real world.
  23. You obviously aren't really across what is happening in Health at the moment.
  24. Isn't SA currently governed by the Marshall Liberal government? I would say the key issue here is the Federal Government abrogating its Commonwealth quarantine responsibility, along with the continued insistence on high density CBD based quarantine facilities instead of facilities like Howard Springs, or the proposed Toowoomba facility. The mismanagement of vaccine rollout also an issue.
  25. Be a bit silly to allow crowds. It's apparently the Indian strain. The super-max infectious one.
