  1. Here's the report, nothing new but a slightly more careful and rehearsed response from Jonesy compared to Saturday. Maxy similar straight bat below Check out @7NewsMelbourne’s Tweet: Check out @9NewsMelb’s Tweet:
  2. This is the same Karl Langdon that had this to say in 2016 about Hogan after his 2017 contract expired ‘I’ve got no doubt that Jesse Hogan’s next contract will be back in Perth,’ Langdon told 3AW Football. If you're a loud mouth then I guess you always need to find something to say...
  3. So I watched the GF and then had dinner and a few beers. Did I miss much on this thread? Seems we're making some progress... SHOCK & DENIAL - complete PAIN & GUILT - complete ANGER & BARGAINING - here we are .....
  4. Confirmed is a bit strong Darcy said he had good mail that's what is on the cards. Jones stumbled unconvincingly around the Hogan leaving bit, said nothing about the return currency I took it as it's almost certain he's gone. Deal to be finalised.
  5. Here's to this thread reaching the ton ? Must mean there's something in it... Jonesey basically just said as much
  6. Seems a good tactic to get GC into the process, as far as currency they have the most and will help to up the price we can receive
  7. I completely agree. I was astounded hearing that stat add he line up a set shot in the GF Unsurprisingly he missed it! Would've been nice to keep Pedo as an emergency backup for Full Forward for next year. He'd have been fine for 1 more year and for that position (FF)
  8. Can we throw in Garlett ?
  9. Agree but they'll roll through on recontracting So with some on longer term deals and some higher enders coming off the general increasing trend would help the club as it grabs new players
  10. The salary cap is on the rise though... right? Not sure but I think it's + $1m for next year
  11. I loved his work particularly how clean a one-grab mark he was in the last few years All the best Peds
  12. We need to focus now on one touch football We don't have many who are great at this
  13. Just watched the first Qtr again on Foxtel Fierce! ? I'm still so pumped... ?
  14. James Harmes BOG, followed closely by Sam Weideman Harmes 10 tackles what an animal!!?
  15. I stand corrected
  16. Yes RJ I acknowledged his outperformance of my expectations earlier in this thread #354 I think it was a promising performance, showed a bit in the contests, but disposal and sticking marks needs improvement.
  17. Pass mark - outperforming my expectations Overs in the contested/effort which was pleasing Unders in the disposals and would like to see a high percentage of grabs stick I think he'll take a lot of confidence from the game, well done!
  18. Pretty sure that's wound up in the player rating category somehow 19 - 553
  19. He's practically the same size as McGovern and eyeballing him close up at training a few weeks ago was confronting - he's a big unit Agree he's young but the point is challenge is set, opportunity is his to tear it apart
  20. Weido has his chance to step up and it couldn't be more important I'm sceptical but looking forward to being proven wrong! Built like Tarzan Let's see who he plays like...
  21. I'm not so sure Getting into a wrestle and getting forced under the ball or flat handed dropped marks is not what we need I want to see a leading option to demand our mids lower the eyes. Perhaps smaller fwd line and rotate Oliver and Petracca deeper
  22. Can you tell Goody?
  23. Not today worst disposal efficiency in the team But if you're right then he's not our full forward solution so he shouldn't be played there He also is not a strong lead and mark, I'm sure his teammates kicking on his head doesn't help much but we need a full forward who can lead and mark
  24. We have an improving list built around a core of solid performers But we've always held on to guys we like who don't perform because we see them through rose coloured glasses Hogan I think is one
