Farewell Jesse Hogan
Completely agree The club and the media trainers have just tightened up the messaging which was a little raw/loose (or honest) over the weekend Nothing to suggest an outcome one way or the other OR a change in position Here are the two key IVs that have spurred the media reporting today Check out @9NewsMelb’s Tweet: Check out @7NewsMelbourne’s Tweet:

Here's the report, nothing new but a slightly more careful and rehearsed response from Jonesy compared to Saturday. Maxy similar straight bat below Check out @7NewsMelbourne’s Tweet: Check out @9NewsMelb’s Tweet:

Farewell Jesse Hogan
This is the same Karl Langdon that had this to say in 2016 about Hogan after his 2017 contract expired ‘I’ve got no doubt that Jesse Hogan’s next contract will be back in Perth,’ Langdon told 3AW Football. If you're a loud mouth then I guess you always need to find something to say...

Farewell Jesse Hogan
So I watched the GF and then had dinner and a few beers. Did I miss much on this thread? Seems we're making some progress... SHOCK & DENIAL - complete PAIN & GUILT - complete ANGER & BARGAINING - here we are .....

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Confirmed is a bit strong Darcy said he had good mail that's what is on the cards. Jones stumbled unconvincingly around the Hogan leaving bit, said nothing about the return currency I took it as it's almost certain he's gone. Deal to be finalised.

Here's to this thread reaching the ton ? Must mean there's something in it... Jonesey basically just said as much

Seems a good tactic to get GC into the process, as far as currency they have the most and will help to up the price we can receive

I completely agree. I was astounded hearing that stat add he line up a set shot in the GF Unsurprisingly he missed it! Would've been nice to keep Pedo as an emergency backup for Full Forward for next year. He'd have been fine for 1 more year and for that position (FF)

Farewell Dean Kent
Can we throw in Garlett ?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Agree but they'll roll through on recontracting So with some on longer term deals and some higher enders coming off the general increasing trend would help the club as it grabs new players

The salary cap is on the rise though... right? Not sure but I think it's + $1m for next year

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Tend to agree We've only really got ability to make one or two mid-level trades in and buy one RFA. Add 3-4 kids later in the draft and 1-2 State leaguers in and were looking at about 7 ins. Assuming no big name trade out (e.g. Hogan)... I think this means Retire: Vince, Pedersen, Balic Delist: Bugg, Filipovic, Trade: Tyson, Garlett Question mark ?: Johnstone, McKenna, King, T Smith (has he got a one year ext??) Then Lewis is safe and we need to Re-Sign: Vandenberg, Kennedy-Harris, Kent and a few of the Question Marks

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
I loved his work particularly how clean a one-grab mark he was in the last few years All the best Peds

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
We need to focus now on one touch football We don't have many who are great at this
