Luke was the spur of the moment replacement for AVB who was the backup for Viney. If Viney plays Luke doesn't.

I'm presuming 'aggressive', attached to 'philisophically', and AR's '...we had it taken away from us...(at times last year)' means in game style - i.e. moving the ball on more quickly, instinctively, to open (riskier?) areas of the field - not physical aggression.
I hope it is also physical aggression because teams like the Swans went hard at us and they won. In the GF the cats sat the Swans on their [censored] in the opening minutes. Dees need to do the same.

I wouldn’t be seen dead in black and white stripes! Nor am I a cow!
However, I bought something that I’ve yet to try but really don’t hold much hope of them working … mosquito patches. They’re like nicotine patches except they adhere to your clothing and not to your skin, and they don’t help you give up smoking. 😁
I will use one of these patches tomorrow at feeding frenzy time and report my findings here.
You're all welcome.
Apparently if you have a lethal dose of vitamin b the mozzies dont bite. Anyway you wont feel it.

Brayshaw so laconic…
I don't know if anybody is interested but is this the first sighting of 'laconic' for this year?

I can’t remember if it was Parkin or Pagan, but a very successful multi premiership coach once said that a team needed to turn over at least 3 or 4 new players every year for sustained success.
I've also said that 😁

I dont recall there being much of a problem with interstate players getting home sick and leaving in the 80's & 90's.

It may be common knowledge to others, but why is he training with Jack Crisp?
I assume they both have the same coach?

It is rather hard to make a judgement on players I have never see but...
Max, Trac and Clarrie are ins for me...outs would be Big Bob, ridley and wells
And I note Neitz is not included so he replaces N Smith as a player
Max challenges Cordner...

I really hope he makes it. What with Hibberd (Hibbard, Hibbert, Hippo etc) close to retirement the list does need players who no one can spell. Whilst Jordon/Jordan is ok for a backup I do think that Sestan/Seston/Sestin/Sextin has massive potential.

Massive we play roos and hawks x 2. That's 4 wins banked.
Never count your chickens before they are roasted. Likely wins yes, banked no.

As we await Picket’s report from distant Casey Fields. The limited transmissions received so far seem to flicker intermittently between reality and mystery. (re: Steven May’s presence or absence?)
Like trying to receive television broadcasts back in the early 60’s of my early childhood days from the Goulburn Valley. Black and white fuzzy images that would seemingly coalesce and than elusively disappear into the ether.
Of those early formative days of TV broadcasts one of the most memorable shows began with Rod Sterling’s narration “There is a fifth dimension beyond which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the an area which we call the Twilight Zone.”
Knowing Picket Fence has great affection for the suburban culture of his youth and his previous reports have heavily referenced cult favourites such as the original Star Trek, Space Family Robinson, and he has lovingly homaged Columbo’s Peter Falk…
The question arises where is PF?
Sorry TC, I think you will have to adjust your set as the last time I saw the Twilight Zone it was in the New Board Member thread.
