Honestly, after moving from Melbourne to Northern NSW in 2011, and given the lack of TV for Melb, and given how c#ap they were, and given other things I was focussing on (getting a farm back into shape), I payed little attention to football beyond GFs until 2015. So, that's a verbose way of saying, no comment because I don't know. I saw some highlights of Wines holding the ball in one hand and balking around opposition last week and thought he looked good-as. Edit: OH, I missed the fact it was rhetorical.

I am really glad I found Demonland (thanks Browney!). It is really opening my eyes to footy and is a really insightful read. You guys do an ace job. (Also, embarrassingly, caused me to sign up as a member for the first time in the 31 years I've been barracking.)

Maybe he spends a lot of time swinging his leg at fighting dogs and has forgotten legs are for footy.
-
I don't know, is it?
-
I certainly took his point.
-
I thought he was good - and I agree - give him some confidence that the club backs him. I don't think he deserves to be dropped yet and has a role to play. Unless (note I said unless, not until) he has a run of offs (or there's simply no space due to the opposition that week), back him in. Couple of goals, some marks, good disposal...

He was everywhere. And I thought silky-smooth in general.
-
Plus we trust the high performance unit has him AFL seniors-ready.
-
Agree with this. Having max "resting" floating around grabbing marks whilst Tmac is running riot is great flexibility and dynamism. Hard to match. (At least until we run into better opposition). plus he jagged two. Goals are still goals.
-
Agree re SYDNEY and Geelong - I think pretty much any team is gettable if a side with Viney plays for 4 quarters with no stranglew$$$nk and no going to sleep for a quarter (both traits lurking below the surface - still to scarred to trust them). Think Geelong have our measure, they're still a bonza side. Think The same for Sydney. QBH is the key. Lock away everyone's LR Evoque and ski lodge keys to make sure we're there. Eagles look hot to trot but hard to tell from over here

Realistically 2 losses to adelaide loss to port, wce and probably freo (even though they were pus today), SYDNEY, cats, pies win against gws and others miss the 8 and rue Max's r1 miss and hawks tigers floggings and not flogging bombers saints

Was it just fatigue in the last 1/4, but we were caught out of position trailing a sainter a fair few times. If fatigue , fair enough. 21 and sunny in brissy next week but sundown early (5pm), hopefully weather not a factor.

I though Weideman was good. Goals are goals. Ineffective in the ruck (that I saw) - at least for now - can be built on. Options, options.

I'm not an expert, don't see much dees on tv but hunt was a liability today

He's no Mark McClure though - the most miserable commentator out there. P

It's a fair point though there're no turns - earn it

0.5% the memory remains

Strap yourselves in / so begins the infamous Melb fade out followed by 12 goals by st kilda and inaction by Goodwin
-
On any other day we'd be the ones 3.8. Lucky to be kicking straight (er)
-
Must kick on from here. Like by 10 goals. Anything less and I demand demonland meltdown.
-
And then he makes me look stupid by jagging one
-
Tyson needs to go, good gracious
-
Tmac is worth every $.

Ah WTF, why isn't it at Carrara? I was half considering the drive up from the Northern Rivers.
