Woke up this morning feeling something tickling my shoulder. Brushed it away. Came back. I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was an iPad shoved in my face with the last two minutes playing. All me and my brother talked about was what a thrilling end it was. When his wife and kids came to pick him up the first thing they asked was if I watched the game. A enjoyable result. Must have watched the last two minute 8 times already. Glad for once it was us who snatched the win, not the opponent. I’m pretty sure this will be ranked game of the round. It will go down as a highlight in an otherwise forgettable season.

Regardless of our season, this will be the type of game that shows up on our magic memories DVDs. A win out of nowhere. It’s certainly a win I’ll remember and one of our best comebacks ever. No matter what team you follow, it’s a game that most supporters would have enjoyed watching. Full of pizza and bit tipsy now, so I hope someone takes these words to heart and enjoys the game for what it was, a comeback win.

I’m not expecting finals, but seriously if you think we don’t deserve any support, why go in here? Go on the opponents forums or go on Facebook to do negativity comments. I understand for a loss, but a win? What other fans would do this?

I watched it with my younger brother. We were literally holding each other, trembling, the last minute. In all seriousness, it’s taken me so long to post because we’ve only just let go. My heart is still pounding. What a win! It’s usually games like this we throw away. So many games I’ve seen the past few years where we were in front and the other team caught up and managed to steal a win. Its usually the opponents who steal a win like that. Thought it was over when GC kicked that goal, but for once, we stood up where it counted and never gave up. One of the best finishes I’ve ever seen to what was a mostly average game. Great to see Jones back in firm. Now we’re ordering pizza and going to have celebration drinks. Go Dees!

Have mixed emotions. I’m really glad we won without such important players on the field, but we really nearly gave the game away at the end. We really struggled and Hawthorn are not really an outstanding team. I’m hoping we can get a few more wins, but I still have my doubts about turning the season around.

Watched the game at my boyfriends. Such a great feeling to beat Sydney. Now no team has a significant winning streak over us. Great to see Jones back in form. Now we have finally overcome a stigma we couldn’t last year (beating Sydney), we can finally progress further

For the first time in years, I’m really looking forward to the season with vigourious enthusiasm. I can’t wait to see how well our boys will do this year

For anyone on here who went to or can at least remember our last premiership, can you share some of your memories of it? What the week before it were like, how did you feel during the game, how confident were you and most especially how was it afterwards. It’d be so nice to have a DVD of this, unfortuantly we’re the only premiership winning team that doesn’t have a viewable premiership. All we have are these: The rothmans highlights, 11 minutes long, prerecorded commentary, players look like small sticks. Less than three minutes of the last quarter, missing several plays in extremely poor footage.

Ah what a night. Woke up by my masseuse this morning. Fell asleep during it. Now just getting this sorted to meet up with my younger brother and his family today. How awesome was the crowd? I think it must have been 80% Melbourne EASY. We even had a neutral sitting near us, that was going for us. Said we’d really captured his imagination. Gave away lots of hugs to strangers tonight. Not really strangers, we’re all part of the big demon family. Wonderful game wonderful win. Only thing is have to get that bikini now, groans. To all the people who said they were done with this club after last season, hows your new club going for you ha ha

Nah, was with my dad and brothers

Just got back home. Wowee! What a win! Loved it. My dad and brothers and me all watching the team we love triumph. So, glad to finally get revenge on Geelong. They may have beaten us but we won the one that matters. Saw Billy Brownless not too far from us. Funny he was sitting in the casual seating. Pain getting into the turnstiles. So slow and was stuck near some drunk feral woman. Finally back and so tired. Going to sleep in my demons top tonight.

Lol nope. Glad to see guys have standards! Mine were old school. Was hard throwing them out, but since I haven’t worn pjs in ages, they had to go. Hopefully some brainwashed kid is wearing them now ?

Don’t be modest. I loved mine as a child. Wish I still had them, but gave away to St Vinnies a few years ago. I spent many a pocket money in the stands buying Demons gear. The things we bought would make you laugh.

Mine were from the 80’s they were awesome, even though I don’t wear pjs anymore. I bet they look real cute.

Did anyone else have Demons pjs?
