Don't think many of the draft picks are gonna feature early but knowing Goodwin anyone with a good attitude will be fast tracked aka Maynard, Smith and Fritsch. So we could see Sparrow featuring early on and maybe playing a half forward role. If i take a guess at rd 1 team i'd say Jetta - Oscar - May Hibberd - Salem - Lewis Brayshaw - Viney - Jones Petracca - Weideman - Neal-Bullen Melksham - T. McDonald - Sparrow Gawn - Oliver - Harmes Fritsch - Pruess - Vanders - Hannan

The VFL team is stacked.

we will handpass it through the goal or rugby scrum it over with all our hard contested midfielders.

Sparrow will be like a duck to water i reckon, just screams Goodwin type player. However, unless he goes forward he will find it tough to get a game.

We need run, but is another defender the answer? I really think Salem and Hibberd will be more unlocked this year now that May has joined and Lever will return from injury. I'm all for taking the best player available but we do need an outside midfielder and to refill our forward stocks.

Even our rookies are getting better. I am not a fan of Josh Wagner, but he is a solid depth player. Now if his brother is anywhere near his brother then that's a fine pick up.

A lot more muscles out there nowadays. Long gone are the days of Watts and Morton.

Still not convinced english is Clarry's first language.

What i'm hoping is come draft day we don't use 23 or 28 on Bedford. Try grab Butters if he falls late if not i like the sound of Sturt and Duursma

Bedford at 28 seems a bit high. 21 would be about right for Valente. Sturt and Duursma maybe our best bet.

I pray Butters doesn't get snapped up early. I also like the look of Clarke, Valente, Sturt and McHenry. If we could get Valente and McHenry with 23 and 28 we are in dream land

I won't be mad if when we face the eagles he lines up Kennedy.

Basically club wanted to improve 3 areas while imrpoving draft hand and did so at the expense of Hogan and Tyson. May and Hogan's impact at each others club will be highlighted all year. The one thing we need is Kade and Preuss to level up and ease the burden. Also 23 and 28 can get us some cracking players in the draft to replace Tyson and Kent.
