  1. If he doesn't already, its only just around the corner: James Harmes
  2. Dare I say it, possibly Bugg for Spargo
  3. Never in doubt. New leaders have emerged before our very eyes.
  4. A small part of me is believing for some reason today. We need to start breathing fire from the first bounce. We need to hurt them physically and mentally with a huge 1st quarter. We’ve done it before. Please boys, get it done.
  5. Remove hogan from that equation I think as he has seriously struggled to have any impact whatsoever against good teams this year
  6. Love a good armchair expert comment like this. Get your hand off it mate - playing top level sport is never easy for anyone.
  7. It's really hard to reconcile your username with that last sentence
  8. Can't argue with that mate. I guess there's a fine line between having faith in your system and game plan and being dynamic when required. I'm just hopefully Goody finds that balance sooner than later.
  9. I liked Goody's presser today. Although his game day coaching hasn't been great, I feel he is getting better at being more dynamic and identifying issues as they happen. It's only his second year with with the reigns after all. When we lose as many games as we have this year by a couple of kicks, it's really just up to the players at that point. We're closer than ever before, and I'm backing Goody in as he seems to have the respect and buy-in from the playing group. That's one of the most important aspects of being the head coach in my opinion, the rest can and will improve in time.
  10. Dunn would be nice to have right now!
  11. Second this. I can't figure out how a statement like that could be inferred from this interview.
  12. Come to the realization that we are perhaps better off without Hogan ...
  13. Not taking anything personally, just calling out the rubbish comment about how people should feel ashamed for being critical of Hogan simply because he has now become injured
  14. Its the same commentators that are pumping us up in the first place. I really can't understand it - the media pumps us up and then has a go at us for getting pumped up when we don't perform. It's mind boggling really. The media loves using terms like "drinking their own bathwater" when it was the media themselves that run the bath and made us get in. sick of the commentary these days - there is way too much of it. Its hard for the average punter to form an opinion on anything footy related when we have the opinions of an army of ex players rammed down our throat every 10 mins, 7 days a week. I miss the 90's. Footy was simpler and far more enjoyable.
  15. What does this even mean? Because some of us entertained the idea of trading him that we someone willed this injury upon him? Or that we are somehow relishing on a fine young man struck down by injury? That's enough internet for you today, champ.
  16. I was just mucking around mate, no offence intended at all
  17. Settle down old boy, you don't know me
  18. Ok everyone - the baby boomers have spoken. We are not to discuss anything other than whether we won or not.
  19. I appreciate that, but our goal kicking - on averages - has been pretty good this year. Sunday hurt big time, but there no reason to start rewriting history. Everyone should probably take a deep breath, remember we are missing 4 of our top 10 players right now (two of whom we should get back next week). We are also missing Billy Stretch right when he came into some form, same goes for Joel Smith who I thought was becoming really good. We'll beat West Coast.
  20. Aren't we ranked top 3 for set shot accuracy this year?
  21. Because we are a very ordinary football team
  22. Calm down, the coach cant do anything on game day about horrible goal inaccuracy. We were good enough other than that.
