Lessons incoming… I can excuse almost everything. All teams can have an off day. But we 100% yielded to a bottom 4 team. We are not defined by one match, but today we were pea hearts and I don’t know what we can say about that at the beginning of the season. Round 2. After all the pow wows and culture and what not. All talk. I just bought a membership for my little one. So good.

My kid is starting to get into footy. He’s watching this game and asking what is happening? He’s 5 and full of wonder and hope and innocence.

Nobody seemed to make much noise about this during the game!? And they do love to drag us during commentary, so pretty rough outcome. Wonder if there’s a stat for a goal and suspension on debut.

Now that’s the kind of grudge match win I’m talking about. BRING IT!!!

Last 3 losses to the Giants, cumulative loss of 7 points total - rough!! Do we play them again? Would love to settle the score.

We SHOULD have won that, but sadly that’s not how the points are awarded. We had our chances, and they took theirs. Giants are a seriously good team. Pretty gutted to start the season with another one that got away, but I’m proud of the boys today, great first outing and particularly so from the debutants. Bright future ahead 💙❤️
