That's a steal! You should buy 2 to maximise the value ?

Changes v Geelong - Elimination Final
Completely agree. He isn't perfect, he makes mistakes, but he runs hard, and gets to where the ball is (which sounds straightforward, but it is not something that everyone does well, such as modern times Garlett, the guy being touted as a replacement - who can, and often goes, missing for entire games). On that note, I'm genuinely concerned that I'm seeing his name as a potential replacement for a kid who's having a dip and contributing nicely to a winning team. Garlett has been tried a couple of times this year and has done no such thing, save a couple of moments.

Finals Tickets
Yep, you shouldn't need your card. The code has been given to you on the basis that you're a member. Maybe just take a note of your member number? Or take a photo of the card? Alternatively, the card is pretty small, so to can throw it in your wallet haha ? These are good problems to have! ?

Finals Tickets
No worries at all ? Haha same! I've already mentally banked the seat, and the win... So now I just need the actual seat and the win. Don't know I'll be able to work until they're locked in!

Finals Tickets
I've called the membership team and confirmed this point. The two tickets are in whatever category you choose, no restrictions whatsover. I was also told that tickets are allocated to Melbourne 'areas', so presumably near the cheer squad etc.

2018 All-Australian Thread
Yeah, Nev was stiff to miss out. I know Gus hasn't played a whole year, but I thought he'd played enough of it (all sublime) to be included anyway. Next year for sure!

Finals Tickets
As it's the first week of the finals, and it's the Dees (i.e not Richmond with millions of members), we should be ok for online purchase. I'll be refreshing every second from 8:58am. Good luck!

Finals Tickets
I haven't got this 'email' either, but for anyone who hasn't seen this yet, members will get exclusive access to tickets Tuesday 9am-1pm. http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-08-26/finals-ticketing-information?utm_medium=social&utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=info+finals+tickets So pumped for this! I'll be there! (I need to buy tickets, but this should be a fairly ok task for the first couple of finals).

Post Match Discussion - Round 23
Great summary! I agree, Spargo makes some silly mistakes, but he runs his guts out every game. The kid must be spent, but he'll be huge asset going forward. Yeah, we do have brain fades, but thankfully we are getting better at moving on from them and getting back to business. I love how Frosty and Weids are standing up. They're a couple more pieces in our future! It's getting harder and harder for anyone else to get into this team, which is great!

Frost's ground speed was something else. And much sharper execution as well. I love how even after he sprints and releases the ball, he keeps going to make sure there's another option. Agree, it's been great to watch Harmes' development this year. He really has been able to capitalise on a combination of strength and silky skills.

First Final
hahah this is perfect - also pretty suitable for Aussie politics right now (change Goody, Bucks and Lyon to... well, take your pick)!

First Final
Man, I'd love for this to happen - but I've the misfortune of watching a few Dockers games this years, and the Pies need to win to keep their top4 possie, so I just can't see it happening. But don't get me wrong, if it does - a clash against the Tigers and a double chance would be AMAZING. We have a great record against the Tigers, and we started strong against them earlier in the year (bit couldn't capitalise) when we didn't quite have our stuff together.

First Final
No doubt. They didn't deserve to win either of those games, and there's no way we'll gift them another. We'll beat them when it counts! Yeah, I'm so pumped. I think the somewhat removal of pressure will allow the boys to play their natural style and send a message coming into the finals. I'll be there, can't wait to see it in person!

First Final
Watch this space - We'll beat GWS, then knock the Cats out of the finals in triumphant fashion. Third time lucky sort of a deal. ...and it will be so sweet.

12 Long Painful Years Finals - At Last!!
If we win, we're likely to play the cats at the G. That's the best possible outcome given that we've had them covered this year, and we will most certainly be out to seek revenge where it counts.

Sam Weideman
The way I see it, we have a choice. Approach the last two games with the old (Ped) - who comes with some risk, as not all of us are convinced that he has what is needed, or that he'll even be here next year. Has he lit things up when he's played this year? I have liked Ped in the past, but I'd argue that he hasn't, or at least hasn't to the extent that contemplating the second option is out of the question, which leads me to option 2... Approach the last two games with the new (Weid) - who also comes with some risk, but his VFL form is decent enough to warrant a go (although admittedly not Earth-shattering). Look, 2 goals would be a great outcome. Hogan has kicked 47 goals in 20 rounds this year, almost all of them against bottom-feeders (I like Hoges, for the record). I'd gladly take 2 against the Eagles. The kid needs to add mass, but he has good hands, reads the ball well and is a good kick. So, we either go with what we know (but have not been impressed with this year), and miss an opportunity to develop talent. Or look to the future. If we don't play the Weid, we just won't know. If we do, and we make the finals, we will have a kid with some confidence, and options for the future. Adding Kent, Melksham etc. will add goals/goal contributions anyway. Option 2 for me.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
THIS. I love the crew that pushes for an ousting, then expects some untested kids to do his job. With no proof that they'll actually do it.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
This thread is madness. Hoges has a great first half of the year, some not so great games (by goal standards) but still great input further up the ground (I think that element of his game has been welcome, and will only be an asset)... and there's a contingent who want to jump at (maybe) 3 UNKNOWNS? And this is the same crowd that wants results NOW? I don't understand this club's fans sometimes. Hoges is brimming with talent, he's struggling a little now (most likely injured), but even if he wasn't, we stick with him and make good! There is going to be a very quiet little group of people when Hoges becomes a core part of this team when it wins premierships! It looks far off now, and I'm still angry about yesterday, but WE WILL GET THERE. And at most certainly will not achieve success by getting rid of superstars who don't perform for a few weeks.

Lyon: Dees in 8 by Default
I don't pay much mind to Gary nowadays, but he's right. We don't perform on the big stage, which is evidenced by the fact that we have failed in every game that has been billed as a big moment against a top 8 side. A 'mini final' if you will. Sure, the games have been close, but we don't do any of the things we should. I was at the game yesterday, and watching the Swans kick to each other all day in open space, was beyond infuriating. Those aren't 'lessons', or a team on the cusp. We got on stage, saw the bright lights and froze while a garbage Swans team (that got beaten by the suns) took control, because we let them and they know, as does everyone in the league, that they're always a chance against the Dees. We're not a big moment club. Yet. As Goody puts it. Let's hope the boys work it out before we have to rebuild (ie we miss our window).
