CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Geelong
I reckon if the bye round is scrapped then both Cats and us will rest quite a few players. Will be nearly a Casey V Cats reserves game. Cats will rest Selwood , Danger and may lose Hawkins but I doubt that as he is a protected species. We could rest Gawn, Kozzie and anyone else with a niggle or two. Makes sense and boy will the AFL be peeved off if it happens.

I saw the 64 game and I'm still in my home thanks!!!!

CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Seems like most of the players are fine which I assume means also Salem even though some learned people on here advise us he has groin issues. I would like Weid to come in and hope he can play a decent game along side BB. Hibbo for Hunt as he has the synergy with the rest of the backs and we can trust he gets back some form. JJ back to sub unfortunately. Keep it simple and some normality allowing the team to improve before finals.

Tasmanian Team
And the crowds have been good at Giants and Suns games?. Most people that turn up at their games are interstate supporters of the opposition team.

NON MFC: Rd 21 2021
Yep. Up to us now. These are the games we lose when expected to win and when the ducks line up. A great opportunity and time to stand up and see how good you are Dees.

My 3 word player analysis V Gold Coast
Agree 100% I hate his little dinky kicks and handballs. He needs to deliver long 50 yard kicks to someone in a good position. He has the kick in him to deliver longer. Just wish he would.

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Like it. Magpies showed how to dismantle Eagles by lowering eyes and pin pointing their passes into forward line. We still bomb it a bit much in my view and need players to look for our forwards. Melksham provides that and plenty of kicking practice required for Trac etc. so we also can dismantle the Eagles

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 v Gold Coast Part 2
Yep but someone needs to tell him that most AFL players now days are as strong as him and to stop trying to run through packs. Please just give the first option. Harmes also needs to be told this.

Gold Coast & West Coast Games Rescheduled
Reckon we would have been better served with the late game. Nearly in a plane all of today but at least a game will go ahead and can watch up here on TV. Must win this.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 v Gold Coast Part 1
Yep a real bummer. Got the freebies for myself and grand sons then purchased tickets for 3 others and was looking forward to the short drive and seeing them live then this happens. Then thought OK I'll fill the bar fridge up and watch them on TV. That's also canned so I will just have to empty the bar fridge and watch whoever. Not happy Jan.

FIXTURE: Rd 20 2021
Well, we will see how good we are.

FIXTURE: Rd 20 2021
As I just mentioned in the Changes thread the Govt up here still has Vics banned. If the AFL get permission to fly in/out then it better get sorted tonight as it doesn't give the club and players much time to prepare and gives Suns a huge start. Train in the wet at Casey today. Play in the warm sunshine Saturday up here if it goes ahead. Be a huge effort to win this one if this is the case.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Not to sure if we have a ground to play on at moment so no need to do changes. Heard on news up here that you poor Mexicans ( I was once one) are still banned. Got no idea what is going on but in any case if we get to play somewhere I just hope we get a decent team on the ground that can actually pass to a team mate. Be great to see.

What’s Behind Our Form Slump
I reckon our issue is similar to the past in that our bottom 6 or so players are now not putting in as much as earlier in year. When we were winning well all players were contributing including our so called bottom 6. We need a even contribution from all to be a finals chance

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Couldn't agree more Binman. Dogs skills were so far better than ours. They actually kick it to a team mate!!. Bont and Mcrae hardly miss a target whereas Trac and Oliver just throw it on boot and hope for best. They, unfortunately are not alone. Bont also in that last quarter showed the difference in Captains. He lead and carried the team particularly when we got close whilst Gawn played OK but he is not yet a leader like Bont. He needs to show a bit more grunt and enthusiasm to lift his mates when it gets tough.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Don't mind the weid in for Jacko as he is way off at the moment. Still a kid and will be a great player for us but is not doing enough and even can't mark over smaller opponents. Would keep Jordon and give Spargo a spell. Similar to Jacko and not giving us enough as a small.

VOTES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I think you do not know much about footy Picket. Viney did well tonight. At least he showed some leadership.
-
Dees vs Bulldogs This Week
I am very bullish on this game. Well I think so as I will be picking them and only a couple behind in HS and AFL tipping comps. Assuming the leaders will go with the Dogs our Demons might help me catch up a bit. You have this Dees.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Spot on Brownie. When opposition put huge pressure on like Hawks did we seem to fold and go back to the past. This is where our midfield leaders need to stand up and lead the way. Unfortunately not happening and they just throw the ball onto boot and hope for best.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I'm with you on Jackson. Give him a spell. Does not impact the game at all.

My Round 18 Preview and Prediction
The last 5 rounds we have gone WLWLW. We cannot afford to be slack on Saturday. Must come with total focus and win by heaps. But I will take a win by what ever margin. Need this to keep the wolves at bay.

That Daniher has no genes from his old man or Uncles. He is as soft as Western Star.

Rd 19 vs Gold Coast in Darwin
Agree. I'm south of Brisbane and was looking forward to seeing us live at Metricon. Stuffed me up big time. Will now look forward to flights etc. back to old home town of Melbourne to watch a final.
