He certainly knows what he is doing, Burgess set a very high standard, and Selwyn was there to see it.
It’s Roadtrips like this that prove to players why the hard work is so strenuous2 games in 5 days is an incredible amount of hard contact
Yep, full credit, was in charge on the easter egg hunt as well 😆

Can’t believe what I just heard Dermie say on crunch time (well l can actually) he basically said that Oliver took short steps with Darcy Forgerty on the lead Thursday night.
Just a bit more fuel on the fire to stick it up these outdated media [censored]
How much more credibility can this dinosaur lose.
To suggest that Clarries effort was soft especially with all the concussion concerns now & one of his best mates forced into retirement is embarrassingly pathetic
You would see a harder ball player than Clarry
Oh yeah and then Tom Morris said that Kozzies action was similar to Maynard’s against Gus!!Clarry made a strategic decision for he and his opponent to pull out, not because he was scared. He is ahead of his time Clarry

Spargo and Turner were in rehab group but didn’t do much.
AMW told me he hopes to play this week. Also said he thought we would challenge Kossie’s ban.
Richo was interviewed on the mic by robbo at the punt road end goals and said his morning involved looking at what to do about Kozzie and chances of getting it to low impact. Gave me the impression they weren't that optimistic but that doesnt mean they won't try

HE’S IN NO HARRY
Adelaide will launch a full-on assault to lure Harrison Petty back to South Australia once more, but don’t be surprised if he stays at Melbourne to chase a second premiership.
It has been reported in Adelaide that the Crows expect him to be in their colours next season after offering him a five-year $4 million deal that was heavily front-ended.
Petty was keen to go home when he saw that he could be part of the Shane McAdam trade.
Adelaide will hope Petty’s status as an unrestricted free agent in 2025 means the Demons might trade him as a pre-agent this year rather than accept a mid-teens free agency compensation pick next year.
So expect them to throw a considerable trade package at the Demons to turn their heads, with Demons great Garry Lyon suggesting on Friday only a Riley Thilthorpe swap would be acceptable.
But even six months on much has changed for Petty, who has made clear he is totally committed to the Demons and intent on focusing on their flag campaign.
When the Demons aborted that trade it was a very different climate at Melbourne as Clayton Oliver’s health battles continued.
The Demons got around Petty through captain Max Gawn and coach Simon Goodwin, who have both remained in constant touch with their swingman.
Expect Port Adelaide to have some interest in Petty’s future given Charlie Dixon is getting towards the end.
So while Petty is in no mood to consider a contract extension just yet, he is a long way from out the door at year’s end.
Of course he hasn't signed, why would he when clubs will up their offers by year end and Port can enter the market. We will have gus off the books and tmac or BBB off the books or on very small contacts in my view ... money won't be an issue ... we will offer a long term deal on a bit less and he will stay

TMac has been regularly training in runners in the recovery and Captain's run this season, (the strapping is new).
BBB as well.
Had strapping on the weekend

He has more potential than pick 80 orv whatever in the draft so a no brainer.

When I have seen McAdam previously in rehab, he doesn't seem happy. He runs without contentment or intensity. Perhaps it is getting to him. Hope we are wrong and missing from the main group and the other rehabbers is genuine.
I can imagine being on the couch or in a yoga position (stretching), for a couple of weeks so the 'nerve' issue causing hammy distress resolves.
Training away for the group?
Does seem fishy.
We need his skill base and him in full training mode.
Noting that Rucci from SA reported differences with Adelaide's fitness staff during the trade period

I believe McAdam had a hammy problem a few weeks ago, just after the calf came good, he had always been running short distances in his individual program at the trainings. For him to be absent, was unusual.
AFL indicated McAdam has nerve issues effecting hamstring and will train away from main group as Mon Bon and titan_uranus mentioned.
Jed Adams is ready to go if he gets a call up.
Strange that someone with an injury like McAdam would be training / doing rehab away from the club when presumably most of the medical or physio staff spend good parts of their work week at the club. Something doesn't feel right

Out Bowey, Spargo, Laurie,

Fullartin seems to have done enough to be next in line l think Schsche 2 tap outs and got pushed around in ruck contexts

I saw Spargo at the airport Friday morning and the guy could not walk. He was really struggling
l don't recall him playing in the practice match or match sim could be wrong. I thought the days were gone rushing back players particularly if they are the fringe type.

I have never seen Sam play but isn’t he an 18yo KPF who didn’t get drafted?
They take time. 2 or 3 years in our system before they get a game seems to be the norm (assuming they are good enough). Doesn’t seem a wise LTI replacement
Agree, come and have a run at Casey first and then we'll Fritsch you once your ready

With the cap space, l would say the compensation for Brayshaw will come in the form of a well paid quality free agent for next season

-
Tomlinson can ruck and so can JVR
- 1
-
He would be handy if Brayshaw has lingering head issues and Oliver doesn't come back for a while.

Joe saved the club, the fact he didn't take up some land is secondary in my opinion. Atleast we still have a club. I am more concerned by the fact that a number of other boards haven't been able to do what they promised

As backup ruck, l would use Tomlinson - can run all day and was doing it part time at GWS. Turner and others can cover him down back

Given they knocked our offer back and we don't have much more to offer them, l would say they are hoping for norf to do more. Both clubs should hold firm and let them stew on it further.

Pretty sure Tim Lamb said they will take 2 picks into the national draft ... don't think 46 will be used

With all the [censored] MFC supporters are copping from other supporters ( yeah… cause their teams are so clean), I suggest the new training ground head to Columbia. They’d welcome us with open arms.
We will have similar issues in Columbia. I hear locals are quite fond of certain plants over there and don't take to kindly to others cutting them down
