Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I don't post much but I can't believe that so many supporters want Buckley as our coach. He failed as a coach for Collingwood even though the Pies absolutely adored him. I was surrounded by so many Pies friends that I wanted him out year after year. True, he almost pinch a premiership but people should inspect that season closer. Collingwood had an easy draw and did not beat anyone in the top 8 except for us during the home and away season! They were extremely lucky to finish in the top 4 which handed them a second chance after they lost to West Coast in the first finals. Then of course went to win the next two games and almost a third. I do hope we explore all options.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yikes, so many pages? Not sure what I've missed but reading the last few, it doesn't seem much. I think it's pretty simple. We need to trade Hogan. It's about getting the best deal for the club so that we don't get shafted as we always do when guys go out of contract, like Jeff Farmer. Problem is Freo isn't going to offer too much in return. We have to use our head here and know that if Jesse doesn't extend his contract, we're going to get very little this time next year. Best outcome is to trade now. I know it's hard to accept that given how much we love Jesse.
- Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Think those picks are wrong. It's 36, 43, 54 and 90.

Run home to Finals - 2018
Desperate or not, there is no way in hell I'm cheering for the Pies. We either beat Eagles or I rather not make up the 8. If Melbourne can't win, the only small satisfaction is seeing Collingwood lose.

Since finals are out of the question, I say we just try to tank and get draft picks.

What's with the pages and pages of ladder predictions... Never done the ladder predictor ever before but I've got us finishing top after Tigers are upset by Essendon then rest their star players in the last round. Eagles to lose to Port also.

Also mathematically, 13 wins doesn't guarantee finals if results went against our way. We're also vulnerable against Sydney. My Swans mate doesn't make me forget about the loss against Sydney in the 90s when the Swans were on a massive losing streak.

What a brilliant idea! I'm going to do the same. Best insurance policy ever. I can see it now: we miss the finals by less than a kick against GWS but I win $1k. It won't take all the hurt away but at least buys one big bandaid to ease the pain. Long term sufferers should jump on board!

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
With Watts gone, we have a new Messiah!! Two first round picks and big bucks. Hope he delivers more than Jack.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Had to look it up again but I believe Adelaide finished 5th last. After 3 priority picks, this was pick number 8 in the draft. They obtained picks 12 and 28 from West Coast after giving Tyson Stenglein. I was more sad to lose one of my favourites Jeff Farmer when he wanted to go home. We got back pick 17 for that. Shows how fair we are when our players want to move back home. Personally, I don't mind if no deal is reached and Lever goes into the draft - serves them right if they get nothing. At the end of the day, we don't lose anything if they are being pricks.

Do mention Thompson. The football world should take note cause we keep getting screwed. We didn't even get Adelaide's first pick for him. Now would you take a young Lever or a young Thompson?? Both have had some injuries at the start of their careers.

Same here. He's done alright to bring in the ex bombers duo but not convinced he is a master coach yet and getting the best out of players. Has time to prove himself. Our list is good enough to be a finals team and we missed out. Some more good recruiting and we should be challenging for top 4-6. Watts is made scapegoat but other senior players underperformed too such as Gawn, Garlett was missing in crucial times, Jones output wasn't his usual high standard when he came back too.

True. Seems to have good genes. Future father and son in the red and blue too?

Deal not done yet. Haven't we learnt to not get carried away?
