  1. Our team played well. They missed too many shots at goal. That’s why they lost.
  2. Lucky he’s not an abattoir worker.
  3. Who did you want him to kill first?
  4. I recall last year there was a lot of talk that MFC hadn’t beaten anyone in the top 8 for most of the season. Or even anyone above us on the ladder.
  5. We’re playing VFL players and leaving out Preuss. Tanking early for draft picks.
  6. Odd that Preuss didn’t get a guernsey.
  7. Arthroscopic treatment success rates range from 67-90%. reference: Volpon BJ. Femoroacetabular impingement. Rev Bras Ortop 2016; 51:621-629.
  8. Treatment for hip impingement should begin with: Resting the affected hip. Modifying your activities to avoid moving the joint in a way that causes pain. Exercising as recommended by your doctor or physical therapist to strengthen the muscles that support the hip. Taking anti-inflammatory and pain medications.
  9. How much do you charge for it? AMA fees?
  10. Hi name is Misson not mission. Players are sent back on to the ground every week when injured and have been forever. Many start games with a residual injury. It’s a ruthless and tough business. If you want to follow table tennis then you won’t be outraged.
  11. Send Tom McDonald back and Tim Smith and Preuss can play forward.
  12. He (Angus B) looked like he might have been unwell or injured.
  13. That sounds uncomfortable. Could lead to torsion of the testis.
  14. Did you also see all the players line up to give Goody a hug but Jeffy avoided this by stepping to the side.
  15. Note to Christian Petracca: kick 1000 practice set shots at goal this week.
  16. Tim Smith kicked four goals for Casey against Essendrug seconds. He should be considered.
  17. The performance coach may have no actual qualifications and may not be registered with any external body accountable to the public. Doctors and physiotherapists are highly trained, educated and are registered with AHPRA. They can be held accountable by the courts of law, the registration boards and even their learned colleges (eg RACS). It’s a very different accountability level. Yes, the performance coach is accountable to the club board but may have very little other responsibility and very little formal training and education.
  18. Yes it is. He’s a normal bloke like you not a robot. These guys are not superheroes in a cartoon strip.
  19. Many players are injured before and during games. Many carry injuries into games that are still affecting them to some degree. Their parents don’t always whinge about it. It’s part of footy.
