There's no way Bailey can be blamed for no workrate. There are too many players in this team who don't run hard enough, either to make space or man up. You put that with woeful disposal and Richmond's hunger for the ball and of course we're going to be 6 goals down.
-
We haven't scored since the 9 minute mark, in the next 11 minutes Richmond have kicked 7.1
-
And another
Richmond 11.7.73
Melbourne 6.5.41
Horrible. We can't get a touch at the moment, and the defence is dying under the pressure.
-
Oh dear god they've kicked 7 in 10 minutes during which we've gone inside 50 maybe 3 times
-
And another to Richmond...we're in a bit of trouble here.
-
our disposal has gone to [censored] again, letting them into the game
Richo's killing us too, Warnock's being annihilated as I write Richo gets his 4th
Richmond 7.7.49
Melbourne 6.5.41
4 goals to 1 this quarter, they've kicked 6 of the last 7 too
-
Another goal to Richo, they're in front now 43 to 41
-
Bruce misses 25 metres out, Richmond takes it up the other end and Brown goals from 50
-
Wheatley's playing well, is he across HF?
OOh, Goal to Miller as I write
-
Quarter Time:
Richmond 3.6.24
Melbourne 5.3.33
2 late goals to Richo hurt us.
2 goals each to Bartram and Bruce.
-
Goal to Miller:
Melbourne 4.3.27
Richmond 1.6.12
-
Goal to Bruce after Hyde got the first in 25 seconds - Rich 1.1.7 Melb 1.0.6
-
Looking to India could be a good idea mfcrox, given they like sport so much, but I don't know whether it would cotton on because they've got so many other things to worry about. Still I reckon could work.
-
Most people said they wouldn't make the finals, you included.
Last time I checked they were still in the eight and had been since about Round 3.
They also beat the Dogs, Collingwood, ran Geelong to two goals and led Hawthorn with 5 minutes to go despite having only two blokes on the bench.
Keep writing them off.
Yeah well unfortunately for them they're about to drop to 9th thanks to Collingwood's 'blockbuster fatigue'
-
Not entirely related, but Carlton's in front midway through the final term, they're in the 8 if they win
-
Any late changes?
-
16.5 points is the barrier: 2 consecutive years under this and you get a PP at beginning of 1st round.

The Westcoast run home:
13 v... Geelong Subiaco Oval
14 v... Hawthorn Melbourne Cricket Ground
15 v... Richmond Subiaco Oval
16 v... Brisbane Lions Gabba
17 v... St Kilda Subiaco Oval
18 v... Fremantle Subiaco Oval
19 v... Essendon Subiaco Oval
20 v... Melbourne Melbourne Cricket Ground
21 v... Hawthorn Subiaco Oval
22 v... Geelong Skilled Stadium
youd think there was maybe 2 wins in there for them ( please !!)
Should beat Richmond at home, and by round 17, St Kilda will have put the cue in the rack so they'll beat the Saints at home too. They've yet to play us, and could steal wins vs Essendon and Freo.
The Shockers home run13 v...St Kilda Telstra Dome
14 v...Essendon Subiaco Oval
15 v...Geelong Skilled Stadium
16 v...Melbourne Subiaco Oval
17 v...Port Adelaide AAMI Stadium
18 v...West Coast Subiaco Oval
19 v...Sydney Sydney Cricket Ground
20 v...St Kilda Melbourne Cricket Ground
21 v...Richmond Melbourne Cricket Ground
22 v...Collingwood Subiaco Oval
need them to win 2 more ( at least ) ..just to make certain...just in case we do anything silly like win a few games !!
On their current form they'll go close to beating the Saints, will beat Essendon and us, who knows about West Coast, so I wouldn't worry about them either.
I think the real danger is Richmond, especially if we beat them today. They're fading badly.
-
Bloody North Melbourne: whenever I tip them they lose, whenever I don't they win.
-
Looks like he'll be missing for a couple of weeks. Was quite stupid.
-
which might mean no Davey tomorrow.
Yeah I reckon you're right. Davey mustn't be fully fit so they've left out one emergency in case.
I watched most of the match today: Sandy were shocking. They turned it over repeatedly by foot and there was no real focal target up forward.
Daniel Bell looked alright, but I'm no expert.
-
Surely Freo and WC will win 3 or 4 more games each at home.
Well Freo's started well against North, but I get the feeling they'll lose.
-
Apparently Travis Cloke is the Collingwood equivalent of Mayfair. That is, he is the classiest specimen at the CFC.
-
Freo and West Coast are still dangerous.
