Taylor and Menzel were the two I was thinking of. Both in doubt.

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
Shows the importance of winning games you should (STK) and taking your chances (Geel, Port). Disappointing but we shall see, every side in the 8 or competing are having similar injury woes, it’s quite bizarre except for Richmond

Haha! I’ve always been a hater of Barrett, I reckoned he’s mellowed this year and has been quite positive on Dees for a change!

As I was typing that I thought that I shouldn’t post it. I can take the blame, screw you MFC!

Darwin game dumped
It's not just Darwin, Alice Springs ground is as hard as a rock too, stuff the heart of the nation game next year. Time to club started to rethink player welfare over money.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 18
I'm now convinced that many of our players are either injured or playing quite sore after the Viney debacle. Viney, Jones, Hannan, Jetta and I wouldn't be surprised if Hibberd has been injured for a few weeks. I could be wrong, but now I'm suspicious. I have lost faith in the medical team and the players to do the right thing. Jetta hasnt really been the same since his head knock and Hannan had scans only a few weeks ago.

Steven Silvagni and Carlton
I actually thought he was well prepared and answered his questions well. Caro is a troublemaker of the highest order, that in itself would make any normal person frustrated.

- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Totally agree. He can be the leader/coach of the backline and intercept alongside 2 KPD's.- Mr Jones
I'm with you 100% here AF, have always thought the same. His leadership qualities also raised question marks when Grimes and Trengove were chosen as captains ahead of him, then combined with his apparently sooky demeanour when Viney was handed the co-captaincy. Another thing I've noticed with Jones lately is nearly every interview he has had pot shots at the media/social media combined with him coming out to say in an interview a few weeks back that he had 5-6 years of playing left, which came at a time when he clearly knows the game is passing him by, strange behaviour. He is the first to mope around with head down and hands on hips when we are getting rolled, his body language is appalling. I admire his loyalty, personality and his effort but racks up cheap possessions with little handballs and long bombs over his whole career. He has been rather slow the whole year, not just last weekend. He's getting asked to be an outside player but doesn't have speed. At 31 next season, I think that'll be his last and I applaud him for sticking with us. He may be a champion, star, favourite of others and that's perfectly fine, but not for me. An honest B grade trier.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
They have very sexy girls in WA, I'd go back in a heartbeat.- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Anstey? lol. Bradtke? It's an issue in the VFL for sure, I heard an interview last week where they were talking about this and a club applied to the AFL to have for eg: A Casey ruckmen to play with Port Melbourne (not the exact teams) but they mentioned they would see more of it in the future. Which kind of has its own issues as that player won't be in the clubs system (coaching and development). I personally think we need an AFL reserves league and a seperate VFL league. Maybe the younger guys can develop at VFL before coming up to AFL reserves. Anyway, yes it's an issue.- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Yes I do, 100%.- Farewell Jesse Hogan

It still amazes me that 12m (6m either wing) would make so much difference to how a side plays, personally I think it's a cop out between Etihad and the MCG and think it's all in the head, combined with a bunch of fair weather footballers. A win v Geelong may sway me, should be nice and windy on the weekend.- There is a role for Bugg
It's a shame it hasn't worked out for Bugg. He actually does get in some good chains and positions with many shots on goal sometimes, he's just a poor kick. I actually liked his nutty, pest ways. Sounds like he trained very well in the off season but I think there's no doubting the Mills incident has ruined his confidence a bit, he can't or won't play like he always did. Not getting any younger either to improve his kicking.- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Exactly. King and Filipovic struggle at VFL level, a long way off AFL, we need a backup now.- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Some names of interest off the top of my head, some OOC, some FA's, some fringe, some needs, some may be not needed, all gettable: Ruck depth, KPD, outside mids and inside mid plus small forwards. In no way am I saying we get these guys, just names of interest to add to the discussion. Blair Fasalo Sam Murray Horlin-Smith Murdoch Gregson McCarthy Thurlow Ed Langdon Sam Wright Atley Dahlhaus Liberatore Wallis Tom Campbell Lin Jong Lewy Taylor Seedsman Dayne Beams Miles Short Stengle (small fwd, 6 goals on weekend) Gaff Jeremy McGovern May Pittonet Hannebery Polec Jack Martin Aaron Hall David Mackay Jarryd Lyons- Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Have you watched them at VFL level? Others may see something in them but i'm very disappointed in them. - Who do we realistically target for a trade?
