Are we banged up again?
It's round 15 - we should NOT be trying to find the best forward structure still and we should NOT still be bombing it in/having no connection. The fact its been like this for 2 years, is a real concern IMO.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
I'm just going to go back and read this thread however.... Has anyone noticed that a few of our players look overweight or carrying extra pudding? A couple of key ones too, one very important crumbing forward.... Why after so many years we continue to keep bombing it into 50? It just seems every bloody game we do this and sometimes we get lucky, but when our crumbing forwards are sooo badly out of form, we have nothing. Goodwin needs to understand and adapt in game. Cats are known for their little chip mark game and Scott knows we play a zone, so they just pick it apart and chip through it. I was never a fan of the Gawn and Grundy experiment, they take away from each other not complement it. Not a fan and it isn't working to the best of its ability. You cant have a forward line with a very raw and green Smith and JVR to kick your goals. A positive, I'm liking Bayleys second and third efforts down forward, definitely noticed a big shift in his hunger recently. Anyway, get sick of saying and hearing the same old after a loss. Bombing long into F50 kills me.

What ever did happen to Buntine as a footballer, showed promise at GWS then just barely getting a game?

20th AFL Team
I personally believe that there should be less teams not more (talent pool issues). I'd remove GC, GWS and relocate North to Tassie, making a 16 team comp. I'm not sure that a standalone tassie team will be a huge success either just yet

20th AFL Team
Will it really bring in revenue though? Seems there is a few clubs (franchises) that are already money pits, as we were not long ago also.

Thoughts on Jefferson? With Brown and TMAC not far from the end and I don't think Shache is ever going to be the answer, will Jefferson make it?? Anyone with any intel? Seemed to start the season well and is nicknamed the magician. We really need a KPF

Very good win and great last quarter by JVR. The pack mark and the eyes on the footy was great to see, along with composure. Liked the way we fought it out to the end (has been a positive in all losses also). Concerns for me: (which can be worked through) JVR first 3 quarters - We need Brown or TMAC there to take best defender. Hes also lucky he didn't give away 50 to Riewoldt for knocking the ball out of his hands (he missed). Petty forward experiment needs to stop - Need him in defence Pickett on another planet last night? May carrying an injury? Question marks over Sparrow, ANB, Rivers. Hunter and Langdon do not do enough. I do like how we are rotating players and getting the wins, hopefully peak at the right time of year, unlike all guns blazing for first half of last year. Hoping the next few weeks we get the wins and boost the %%.

Cats without Selwood then Stewart, De koning and a sore Stengle didn't help their cause. Both sides beatable on that vision, no defence.

We cannot draft again from WA
Take a look at what Geelong have done or doing. Very smart recruiting. I think @Lucifers Heroput a post up about it the other day also.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Trouble for the beloved and idiotic Pies is the clowns have signed up people and promised others and should have done the Grundy deal first. Let them [censored] the bed I say. Even if we dont have another ruckmen 🤣

Farewell Luke Jackson
I'm happy with the deal, not upset he's gone either. Unsure whether he checked out or got found out this year, I'm concerned with the club not chasing/landing a big KPF and filling some depth. Still unsure how Grundy/Gawn is going to work as I hope they aren't relying on Gawn to hold down that KPF spot. Seems alot of people thinking JVR is the next saviour, he hasn't even played a game yet and is a kid. Fingers crossed it all comes together in the end.
