  1. When he first came back I was one of those who thought we needed him back, but he's exceeded mine and probably everybody's expectations down forward. He doesn't need many kicks and is probably our best forward to my surprise. I think we'll probably see Hogan drift back and help out like he has been moreso than seeing Tom down there. And thank god he did play forward and snag a few v Pies.
  2. Yes Jordan, stop the spin, it was all about the ladder in round 23 last year, as it was v Pies as it is every week.

  4. Biggest cheat in the game, hope he's reading, absolute dog of an umpire
  5. Hard to know what Pies will do, I've heard for some time that they want both Weid and Lynch (GC), going to be an interesting trade period. Moore was linked to Swans so god knows what will happen.
  6. Is Moore even that good? From what I’ve seen of him he hasn’t delivered yet either?
  7. If Port play like they did last week I think we’ll win, if they play like they did v Tigers I think we’ll lose. I don’t think they’re as good as the media beat up but then again neither are we as we’ve beaten no one. I was confident before I saw the changes, the outs I’m happy with but think we may be monstered down back. No small forward either on a potential dewy night, whereas I would’ve brought in Garlett. Should be one of the games of the year, go dees.
  8. Winning games, culture, stars, playing finals, snatching a flag will bring the punters. That’s the way to get members and followers, not a choice of training ground location. As PJ said in one of his first interviews, we need to get the footy right and the rest will follow, funny how that’s eventuated, smart man, unlike the previous CEO/board. I think the proposed choice of location is clever, albeit ambitious, but we’ll see. I just wonder if this is further down the track than we think, hence PJs resignation. For me personally I’d go to more training sessions at the G. I think we also need to move our focus from an ageing/dying supporter base to what’s best for our future. I don’t know what the Casey relationship is but I assumed it was a bandaid, a stand alone VFL team is also needed and one where we can train together. Build it and they will come.
  9. 33-17 ?
  10. What a rubbish game, shocking. Apart from 1Q burst of goals it’s been awful 8g combined in last 3Q
  11. 17-9 free kicks
  12. Surely Eagles claw their way back into it
  13. How long will this actually take for us to be training on it? 2 years? 10 years?
  14. They’re playing without their Hogan and Tmac
  15. Lets hope there is a master plan because it could be lost at the selection table again. I’m less confident now
  16. Yep no more boys club
  17. '' FORMER Melbourne players Jack Watts and Jack Trengove have missed out on recalls for Port Adelaide's clash against the Demons. Watts and Trengove had big games for Port's SANFL side last Sunday and this was the first chance to play against Melbourne after switching clubs late last year. But Power coach Ken Hinkley has confirmed their only change will be Jack Hombsch making way for in-form defender Tom Jonas, who is back from a hamstring injury.''
  18. Thats what I meant previously, where do they get all the cash from..........
  19. It was another interview that certainly exceeded my expectations, keep up the great work, much appreciated "I was tossing up even asking Brad if he thought it was a kick in the guts to have the captaincy taken away from him when Mark Neeld came along." - I think we know the answer already!
  20. Good idea, I would’ve liked to have heard about Neale as a coach and person plus what Brad is up to these days since he finished coaching and what he gets up to. Great interview though, interesting re Bails.
  21. Can you please do up a new best 22, haven’t seen one for a few days!
  22. I’m sure he is a nice person, as are most players that I’ve met, they do lots that go unnoticed. But, I find him quite annoying and cringeworthy personally. It was bob this and bob that with everything last year. Tries too hard. Not saying he’s not a nice bloke, but like Whateley, just blabs on
  23. I'm actually more confident of beating Port than I was of beating the Pies.
  24. Over the last 10 years, they've had a much better chance of winning than us though!
  25. Yep tip with your brain, not your heart. Whats the point of going in a tipping comp say worth $1,000 if you don't try to win
