GAMEDAY - Round 14
Marshall doesn't worry in the sense of goalkicking, nor does Ryder, it's who they take re our defenders which frees up the others that is of concern. It really is such an important game, lose and makes it hard for top 4, should be a cracker

GAMEDAY - Round 14
3-4 other talls Dixon/Westoff Yes, the other two are Ryder and Marshall. Happy to back in the match committee WB but my MFCSS is creeping in after watching them the last two weeks. Mids/leadership in the guts critical tonight. I think Frost was a safe bet considering their talls and frees up Hibberd and Smith to flanks where they should be playing anyway

Stop it, I'm still having nightmares about that!

GAMEDAY - Round 14
Thats exactly my problem with selection, think we have screwed up, Omac takes someone but they have 3-4 other talls including Dixon/Westoff. I hope its not a massive blunder but I'm less confident than I was.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 14
When he first came back I was one of those who thought we needed him back, but he's exceeded mine and probably everybody's expectations down forward. He doesn't need many kicks and is probably our best forward to my surprise. I think we'll probably see Hogan drift back and help out like he has been moreso than seeing Tom down there. And thank god he did play forward and snag a few v Pies.

GAMEDAY - Round 14
Yes Jordan, stop the spin, it was all about the ladder in round 23 last year, as it was v Pies as it is every week.

Biggest cheat in the game, hope he's reading, absolute dog of an umpire

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Hard to know what Pies will do, I've heard for some time that they want both Weid and Lynch (GC), going to be an interesting trade period. Moore was linked to Swans so god knows what will happen.

Is Moore even that good? From what I’ve seen of him he hasn’t delivered yet either?

GAMEDAY - Round 14
If Port play like they did last week I think we’ll win, if they play like they did v Tigers I think we’ll lose. I don’t think they’re as good as the media beat up but then again neither are we as we’ve beaten no one. I was confident before I saw the changes, the outs I’m happy with but think we may be monstered down back. No small forward either on a potential dewy night, whereas I would’ve brought in Garlett. Should be one of the games of the year, go dees.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Winning games, culture, stars, playing finals, snatching a flag will bring the punters. That’s the way to get members and followers, not a choice of training ground location. As PJ said in one of his first interviews, we need to get the footy right and the rest will follow, funny how that’s eventuated, smart man, unlike the previous CEO/board. I think the proposed choice of location is clever, albeit ambitious, but we’ll see. I just wonder if this is further down the track than we think, hence PJs resignation. For me personally I’d go to more training sessions at the G. I think we also need to move our focus from an ageing/dying supporter base to what’s best for our future. I don’t know what the Casey relationship is but I assumed it was a bandaid, a stand alone VFL team is also needed and one where we can train together. Build it and they will come.

Round 14 Non MFC Games
What a rubbish game, shocking. Apart from 1Q burst of goals it’s been awful 8g combined in last 3Q

Andrew Gaff

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 14
'' FORMER Melbourne players Jack Watts and Jack Trengove have missed out on recalls for Port Adelaide's clash against the Demons. Watts and Trengove had big games for Port's SANFL side last Sunday and this was the first chance to play against Melbourne after switching clubs late last year. But Power coach Ken Hinkley has confirmed their only change will be Jack Hombsch making way for in-form defender Tom Jonas, who is back from a hamstring injury.''

Demonland Podcast Tonight 20/6 Featuring Brad Green
It was another interview that certainly exceeded my expectations, keep up the great work, much appreciated "I was tossing up even asking Brad if he thought it was a kick in the guts to have the captaincy taken away from him when Mark Neeld came along." - I think we know the answer already!

Demonland Podcast Tonight 20/6 Featuring Brad Green
Good idea, I would’ve liked to have heard about Neale as a coach and person plus what Brad is up to these days since he finished coaching and what he gets up to. Great interview though, interesting re Bails.
