Most people, including experts will all say Lever is more a floater, intercept player, 3rd man up, not a KPD and Joel Smith is our current CHB. That's because I don't think Lever is a KPD..... also, I went back through selected teams for the year. Fails miserably? "Don't be so melodramatic" Rather than attack posters for their opinion in a psycho ex girlfriend style, throw up who you think are those teams KPD's?

Would have loved him at the Dees instead of Lewis. I do think we need to turn over our oldies with guys from successful clubs in the 28-30 bracket.

Am a big fan of Brisbane and what they're doing, Hodge is helping them immensely. 1 I picked was an upset who I think they match up well with.

At our best we can deep, I have wins v Frem and GC, outside of that are 50/50. I really hope we can turn it around from here.

I'd go hell for leather at Steven May, I think we need an experienced defender whos a leader, Lever can be third man up where he plays his best. We still don't know what our best 22 is, where do we play Tmac? Does Omac continue to get a game? Hogan needs to play forward. Does Weid fit in? It's all very unsettled. But I think we need that KPD. Frost is obviously out of favour, Petty is a long way off and who knows with Kielty. We need some pace obviously, another Saad tupe who breaks the game open off HBF, develop and go over and beyond with Hunt. We need to rebuild the defence with experience, I don't think J Smith is the answer, Jetta is getting older too.

Who was playing CHB and FB last year when we didn't have Lever and Tmac went forward? Obviously Omac was one, who was the other and how did we structure up? Was it Frost, cant remember.

This concerns me. They are busting their gut in close with bash and crash but it must be sapping their confidence from all the effort and no results, lets hope we don't capitulate from here.

Yep I know you have that opinion of Gaff, but who else would you choose if not him? Mahoney says we have enough room for 1 maybe 2 stars. Vince may retire and free some up and potentially Lewis and Jones next year.
