That was one of the least imposing games I've seen Donald play Gorgoroth. I assume he has been better than that for the rest of the season? Havent seen any Rams games to gauge his form. Both QBs missed some horrible open throws. It was a bit more of the 49ers of 2019 today, plenty of run yards from Mostert, and plenty of YAC, particularly from that huge Kittle play. Just need the Seahawks to get beaten to make the division even more interesting!

Bears, Chiefs, Rams for me!

Lol, Tom Brady forgot how to count to 4 in the last minute of today's game. Not a great game, but how on earth can someone like Tom Brady lose count of the snap count? Must be his old age. Massive result to put a not really that convincing Chicago at 4-1.

Bit late this week: Bears, Bucs, chiefs

We're going to struggle at WR depth this year, especially with Deebo on IR for the next month still. Hopkins and kyler Murray cut us up, although Murray was on the right end of some very soft calls when sliding at the end of his runs. Like you, I'm not confident of winning nfc West this year

Does Jones account for 280 or so of our games tally, out of 361? The whole injuries and being on the fringes of the best 22 changes dramatically this year. No longer can you impress selectors with repeated bogs on the frozen tundras of Casey fields, nor can you ease back from a long term injury getting match fitness into the legs whilst battling the hurricanes down there. Makes the selectors job all the more difficult, probably means training intensity will be consistently high as players try and out train their selection rivals.

It took nearly all of the first quarter for the subcontractors to setup the portaloos on the basketball courts, so I'm not surprised there was also no food options available. The wind did seem to be affecting goalkicking a fair bit, so norths more accurate return was not a surprise given they train there every day. Was great to see the likes of Jimmy Munro give a chance to run around with the senior demons at this time of the year, I thought he was pretty handy. By the last quarter the whole Casey contingent were out there, and north started getting slightly back into the contest. Ed Langdons mode of transport to the game was his push bike, we almost side swiped him in the car and added him to the injury list. Dom Tyson had as very Dom Tyson-esque game, great at moving through heavy traffic but still very slow on the outside. Fritsch is a lock as a leading forward pocket for round 1, his class when he has the ball in hand is a joy to watch, he almost got knocked out about 3 times yesterday going for big pack marks too

Saw him in the stands with a bandage on his right knee

Had no idea there were so many other Niners fans on here! The turnaround this year has been fantastic to watch, they've built this team from the ground up starting with the defensive line, Bosa, Armstead, Thomas & Buckner in the draft and adding Ford this year has been huge. I'll be wearing my Jerry Rice jersey and heading to highpoint hotel

Phew! Thought we took the foot off for a while in the 2nd half, Rogers started finding his rhythm, luckily that superb first half from Mosert gave us enough scoreboard space. Bring on the chiefs!

That Texans-Chiefs game sure was crazy! I left for work with Houston up by 3 TDs and it wasnt even quarter time. Not a lot of composed defence for a playoff game, although I've only seen the highlights post quartertime. Reminds me of the regular season shootout with between Niners and Saints in week 14, we ran out winners 48-46, it was great to watch a high scoring match but not great from your teams defensive perspective. Thought the Titans played surprisingly very well, worry for Lamar Jackson now that he's had stinkers two years in a row in the playoffs, admittedly I dont think I've seen a full game from the Ravens this year but its hard to believe he's the raging MVP favourite based on some of those throws on Sunday. Thought the Seahawks had all the second half momentum, but time ran out for them. That Jimmy Graham (an ex-Seahawk, oh the irony!) lunge definitely looked short to my eyes, but it was pleasing seeing Pete Carroll lose his nut. Jimmy G was surprisingly circumspect with his arm against the Vikings, but with the 3 pronged running attack gaining yards at will, I guess there was no need. I can barely recall Kittle or Sanders making a catch of any considerable yardage. Defence was as strong as its looked roster and score-wise since the first half of the year when Dee Ford and Kwon Alexander were last fit. Two interesting matchups then, I dont think the Niners will have it as easy as they did last time against the Pack when Rodgers had one of the least effectual games I've seen him play against pass rush. Home field advantage and my inherent bias says Niners. I cant see Mahones and co being stopped after their demolition job this past weekend, I'm still struggling to comprehend how a Ryan Tannehill lead team are playing so dang well. Chiefs by plenty.
