Might have done a couple of bucket bongs out of the cup. That's the old school brissy way!

Mmmm, tiges got out to 5.50 before. Shoulda whacked a bit on but can't bring myself to barrack for them. I think they'll win. Cats haven't taken their chances.

Really disappointed in that behaviour. They should have shown some class and taken their clothes off at least

Use to love going to the gabba to watch him play. One of the best I've seen.

Yeah, of all the songs to cover. Didn't think much of the powderfinger cover either. Wafty trash.

Spent most of my life in Brisbane and would have seen thousands of bands over 30 years or so. These artists aren't my cup of tea but they're hooking through them well and haven't at least put on a bunch of old hacks. Its alright I reckon.

Alright. Who would be on the Adelaide line up?

This concerns me deeply. Will the Victorian turf cope with these sub tropical conditions? Will sheperds immaculately dyed hair run in the rain during half time entertainment. What will happen to Stockdales fro? Will he be able to play the guitar with his teef if his hair has fallen down.? I wish the Dees were playing and blowhard were the half time entertainment RIP Rollo.

Yep. They get Cameron, we get Brown. Its like we're one of the dogs under the table getting scraps. 2021 better be an outstanding year for us.

You could definitely see the drop off in quality with the lions last night too. A good core but some pretty ordinary players amongst them. As you say, tweak the list and get the system / process working well so that the second and third tier players start to look like champs too.

Dropping the ball no longer seems to be part of the rules.

At least its on at night. Time to binge on Fargo or even a Steven Segal movie would be better.

I really do hate Geelong and Richmond. I don't think Brisbane deserve to be in a granny after watching this first half. However, if there's ever a time for these cheating yellow maggots to give a team a ride to a premiership cup, it's this year. If this favouritism continues for the lions this week and next, it might actually make the media and then the afl take the lack of professionalism and quality of these umps seriously and actually do something about it.......or maybe not.

Hopefully they're gassed after that slog. Cotchin should be fresh as he did bugger all. Maybe they could suspend Reiwoldt for staging a head knock late in the 3rd? One can only dream. Here's hoping the Lions get an easy run tomorrow.

Used to be Reiwoldt, Lynch has shot past this year

Great post and yep the pies need a good leader over there to address those cultural issues. Pound for pound, one of the best defenders I've seen. So often he'd beat blokes bigger than him. I'd hope we could transition him into a defensive coach and mentoring role at the club. Hard to achieve in this climate though. Don't blame him if he takes what he can get from a contract with the pies.

There's too much common sense and logic in this solution. As with every aspect of our once great game, It needs "to be Gil'ed" I.e. made as illogical and confusing as possible therefore slowly murdering the game. Savvy move to work on the foundational 2 nd tier comp. Can't be long before he turns his murderous hands to Auskick somehow.

Hope the cats get beaten tonight. Just because it's a final and I think the Lions will beat the pies.

Yep you're spot on. There does need to be some recognition of the fact he's done dog acts multiple times this season. Yes, if it was a dees player we'd be defending them for a one off act. But if it was someone like May (who learnt from one suspension) who had done this 3 or 4 times in a season, we'd be calling him stupid and probably deserving of a suspension. What message does Lynch’s and Cotchins action send when they just get away with it? What message does it send to kids? I think the whole focus by the MRO being on how much damage was done is a mistake. If there's deliberate grub acts going on, they have to be rubbed out. Unless it's one of the big clubs of course.
