  1. It's a good analogy but flawed in its premise. Car A was the one in the wrong lane.
  2. My hope is tge Afl reads all these genuine posts of concern.
  3. If so I'd argue we smother at every turn but it's good we don't roll that way.
  4. I think I saw this biomechanist in the Castle movie.
  5. Give them a break ...it's a meth reference.
  6. Probably the stuff they googled in the back of the Uber on the way to tribunal.
  7. Biomechanist: I do not believe Maynard's body position at the time of impact can be considered part of any conscious decision Why?
  8. Maynard is a perfect example why Mason Cox's mates invented the filth amendment.
  9. They have already said and demonstrated as much for me RbG with all their minions in the faux press.
  10. Your second cpmment was good. As to losing Gus and losing the game I'm not so sure. Yes we kicked at goal poorly and bombed it in. But a I reckon Gus in the team is at least seven points more than Laurie. Get well Gus.
  11. What a great post. Clearly the wine idea was Maynards. But for sure you give the guy and his family some space. It's not about you. And thirdly, you humbly keep it mom, until a verdict is final.
  12. Geez that picture makes you feel sorry for Gus. He wasn't concussed he was totally old cold and for a while. Maynard was flying at Gus before he jumped for whatever reason. I now the blokes no genius but he's played enough footy to know he would have collided with Gus after making a beeline at him from ten metres away. Regardless of if it costs us a flag or what punishment does or doesn't transpire, I just hope Gus is ok. But I can't imagine he will be. Psychologically it's going to have scars and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he called it quits.
  13. Good on Caro for her views on all this . I'm sick of the political hit job the cfc and the media have done on this to get this dog act off She also mentioned that Michael Christian threatened to resign.
  14. I think it's more an indication of the readership. The writers can't be smarter than it's buyers. I'm sure you just borrowed a friend's or inadvertently clicked on the wrong link so all good here.
  15. Given our lack of tall feds who can take a mark in a pack, our bombing it in was just a complete waste.
  16. I don't thinks so only by the unfortunate stat that we have started poorly in quite a few others. I admire our fight backs but it's frustrating that we are putting ourselves in these positions. But kudos for attempting to explain them. It's quite strange.
  17. Or if Jack Viney was visiting at the same time.
  18. I wonder if a Maynard throwing his arms up while he jumped forward help propel him even higher. The more I watch the footage the more I ask, how could have Maynard not have thought he would collide with poor Gus? The intent for some impact was certainly there. Since he's fluffed the truth once, I'm not sure he even cared about the smother. If the Afl doesn't stop this act with a hefty penalty, we will see plenty more " smothering" in the game and lots of careers jeopardized.
  19. If one team is a player down, it does even the playing field. Not in this case but yea it's not like umps don't get it wrong sometimes.
