PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Carlton storming home with seven wins on the trot. It's a good effort. Despite Petty going down I think we will still win. It's back at the Mcg which is good news for us. Hopefully Oliver will return and this will bolster morale. How much of an influence he has will be very interesting after such a long absence but he is a superstar so there's that. I think Goody will give Grundy a shot up forward although I'm not sure he's the man for the job. It's more a case of last man standing at this point in time. Milk was quiet against North, so I'm hoping he bounces back big time. I'm glad that Our smalls have hit some great form of late. Grundy isn't a good mark like Petty but he's tall enough to make a good contest so Kozzie and co can do their thing. It will be a tough game and we certainly can't come out again like we did against North. It's a toss up between Harmes or JJ for Oliver. Should be a ripper.

Jack Silvagni
It's a concern that a few of our talls are having injuries and are towards the end of their career. Tmac and Bbb are the obvious ones. But May is getting on in years. We need to be very focused on recruitment of some young talent and maybe some established players circa 25 years of age. I,d argue we need two tall defenders and two tall forwards.

Jack Silvagni
Given his family's connection and history with the CFC , I'm really surprised he would leave. But I guess you never know. Ablett junior left Geelong. I think recruiting an established somewhat mature player is a good idea but perhaps not Silvagni . Thanks Hawny for Gawny.

We should have never started this thread.

2023 Injury List
I don't get why some people would facepalm this. Obviously Petty is first choice but who else is left. Fritta of course but that only gives us one tall. It ain't gonna be Bbb, schacke or Tmac.

Still a shocker from the lions.

I'm glad I don't barrack for Freo very often.

2023 Injury List
Agreed Layzie. There's some Pollyanna posting permeating at present about Petty's present predicament. Our forward line was in dire straights and even Kozzie lifted in his presence. Finally found a solution and poof he's gone. [censored].

I think we will see Grundy back. Maybe he will surprise us all.

Blues seven wins in a row after losing six. Sheesh. It's about to come to an end.

2023 Injury List
Your right. I feel sorry for the bloke. He's had a shocking run with them. And it wonderful form. Not sure who we replace him with. Grundy will probably get the nod.

He's been injured a lot. It's a worry.

I feel like I'm watching a game to see if we play finals. Really if we drew level in the first against North today we could have had a ten goal win. Sick of playing in Tassie.
