Has cricket really ever been a game based on honor and good sportsmanship? Its always touted as a gentleman's game but the reality is very different. Even going back to the bodyline era....it wasn't very sporting back then. It's a nice idea but I'm not sure if it's the case.

Wasn't exactly great sportsmanship presenting medals in an empty stadium with India holed up in their rooms. I think they must have been gutted though. Firm faves throughout the comp and one billion on their case. The only game they lose is the final. So it's easy for me to think they should have been present for the presentation but the reality is very different.

Yep, you were right about the call to bowl first. Gutsy call that paid off. So impressed with Travis Head. Batsman , bowler and penultimate fielder.

The problem for India was telling on just a couple of batsmen. Also their lower order didn't get too much match practice batting. We on the other hand had different players bobbing up every game.

Good effort staying awake Maccas. Brilliant effort from Australia. Great game from Head , Cummins and Markus.

That Travis Head catch was a contender for mark of the round.

I'd say even Stevens at the minute. Good score at 8 am over. But two down. Head is one of the best fielders in the game for me.

These two batsmen are damn good. Need a breakthrough asap.

I'm just going on our form in this cup where we have won more batting first. But Cummins is thinking the dew will affect their spinners. Starc has hit some form at the pointy end of the series.

Maybe so but I reckon any change to the format which if play resumes will be certain will help SA.
