  1. I have always loved the Ox but to say trade or only tall fwd when we have been struggling in this area for so long is ridiculous. We need to hold on to this player with everything we have. I really believe he is a true generational talent in the likes of Curnow and you simply don't trade them. Not sure what Scwarter was thinking. In fact Jvr reminds me a little of the Ox albeit a slightly smaller but more nimble version. We do need a king type player to give Max a hand as I don't like seeing Jvr having to do this.
  2. Tmac is moving remarkably well. I'd love to see him playing fwd again but I understand he doesn't want to do this. At least we have Milkshake back in the fwd line. Not a dig on Petty who has been showing some good signs lately but our fwd line of yesterday with a bloke who hasn't played all year in any level looked so much better. Jake looked hungry like last year and I'm sure will start to get better and better. Not a big tall is the snake but he certainly plays like one. A very strong player and a very accurate shot at goal from all angles. He could really be the x factor that sees us playing finals.
  3. With the exception of Sydney Swans who seem to be faltering and North who are improving,is this the most even comp you have seen?
  4. For a bloke who hasn't played since last year and after a huge injury at his age....to step back in ...he played a very good game. Good make a huge difference to a struggling fwd line and our finals chances.
  5. The Kolts two goals were pretty exciting.
  6. Realistically Jvr could have kicked seven. Have the feeling we will be talking about this player for years. He is a star in the making.
  7. We win those close games against lions and blues and we would be second. What a bizarrely close season.
  8. Encouraging to see the youngsters amongst it. Welcome back Melk.
  9. Really have to wonder about our fitness.
  10. Was bound to land one eventually.
  11. Jvr to kick seven hopefully. Was just a matter of time. It's been building for a while. Come on Dee's foot to throat for position eight please.
  12. Like to see more from Chandler and Sparrow.
  13. Gotta do better at the C clearance
  14. The kick to him wasn't good either
  15. Rivers does so well in traffic.
  16. Not a fan either. But what gives? Is it from the 2000 GF?
  17. The writing is clearly on the wall for he and Schacke.
  18. Big call bringing him in so soon but we could certainly use his skills and experience. Go Jakey.
  19. For me in order of disdain it's 1. Cwood 2. Carlton. 3. Geelong. 4. Essendon. 5. Hawthorn. ( Eagles and port just missed out).
  20. Why do Carlton get such a great run with the umpires?
  21. Hopefully we can get it right. Hunter, Billings and McAdam hasn't really worked out.
  22. Hard to begrudge North awin ( unless against us of course) GCS should just pack it in.
