The big takeaway from the cats v blues game was how easy the cats hurt them from the rebound. The cats moved the ball from their backline at breakneck speed and the blues looked powerless to stop them at time. I hope we can do the same. Players like Windsor, Tracca Kozzie and Langdon should have big nights. It would be wonderful to move the ball like that so Fritta and Co have some space. I'm really bouyed by Petty's return to form who's was that marking connection we have really been missing. Hopefully Jvr can hold a few more of his and we should be able to dominate this mob.

It's a bit of an unknown quantity somewhat. Yes we can bank on Fritta and Kozzie but our talls are the interesting factor. If two of Turner, Petty and Jvr perform, I reckon we've got this.

I didn't feel confident against Geelong and I don't tonight. I should though after the Cats win. I feel like this will be another arm wrestle. Can we win two close ones in a week? I'm worried about the five day break. Apparently it was a very light training run which makes sense. I know Frittas good for his three goals and Kozzie for his usually two but who else will kick them? I think 90 points is a winning score. I know we have the best defense in the comp but Blues fwds are very dangerous. We can't rely on just keeping them to a few. If we do win, it will well and truly set up our season. I'm excited to see if Petty continues his form. And to see what young Windsor does again tonight. And of course Kozzie. He's always exciting.

They should just change it to Tassie devils.
-
One gutsy player.
-
Good thing Bowey is back. Otherwise it would be eight changes to the last time we met. An in form Petty will be the difference tonight.
-
Us. Surely we need to include Tom these days. Sorry Binman. I misread your post. I thought you were talking about our defenders not fwds.

..... that's three for me.

Correct it was the two acts of trying to alter the outcome of an election by paying to hide said affair and then cooking ze books via Cohen being paid. Not really a prisonable offence but still crooked. Kind of ironic. I agree it's political. But then he should have been imprisoned a while ago now for the Jan six treason. Lying about the election. Assembling a crowd Inciting a crowd and directing the mob to march on the Capitol where several cops were killed. Then watching it live on TV and doing nothing. Hanging offence.

Paying hush money isn’t illegal on its own, but authorities say the payments made to suppress stories about Trump amounted to illegal campaign contributions.

Political or not, the law is very explicit about falsifying accounts.

Can you please ask coaching staff to take it easy today? A light little frolic followed by an Arvo of cucumber sandwiches and some tea perhaps? Big evening tomorrow. ( Eyes on Bowey please to see if you think he will play).

Does politics get any better.... At 10.30am Tuesday in a New York City courtroom, five words changed the course of American history: “The people call Stormy Daniels.” 😃😃😃

The more I think about it, I'm not a fan. Maybe chip in a bit more to spruce up the medals but it's what they represent that gives them their value. And it's not like the same players get them every year. We all know how hard they are to come by. Plus players don't do it too tough with their end of season holiday and their salaries these days. Hard to fathom fifty years ago your plumber would be fixing your dunny on a Friday night and then playing at the MCG the next. But back to rings yea, na for me.

Feel sorry for Woey. He played really well. Maybe Bowey is sub for a limited return after a long absence?

The five day break will be interesting. It may be negated somewhat by the bye we had. In some ways this game is as big as last week's. Win this and I feel a little smug. A follow up from Petty would be nice with a couple of goals added on. Hopefully Anb and JV can be at their best to combine with an inform Oliver and Max. Can't wait to watch young Windsor again. And some Kozzie brilliance as well. Thanks to all dlanders who got to the game last week and made a lot of noise.
-
I still hate him though.
-
Makes sense..... channelling his inner spinner.
-
Yea me too. And yea I imagine that game drew a lot of energy. Hopefully a very light training run and the fact we had the bye not long ago will help. Stupid fixture.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor

Aside from his acceleration, he has great upper body strength as well. But it's his ability to make quick decisions and quick execution of plays that excite me. That hanball over the top in the middle without breaking stride to I think it was Tracca who kicked to Frita who goaled... was as good as it gets. No it wasn't a feat of strength or great marking or kicking, it was just a handball. But one made in a second and one where Tracca too didn't have to break stride. How many of those looping handballs do we see get intercepted? Not from this young man. -

Was Robbie taller? I noticed that when Caleb flexed up after his goal he looked quite solid. His speed is up their with anyone else about. Let's hope like RF he owns that wing for the next decade and has a continuing stellar career. Be tough for Hunter to get it back. That quick chip kick to Fritta for our first goal was very Flower like. I think I read somewhere once that RF weighed 69 kg in his early career. Could that be right. I know he was whippet like but I remember him as being quite tall and thought he would have weighed about 80. He must of filled out later on Yes I too have some memories of seeing him dash past me while I was a tacker on the fence. -

Enjoyed the commentary quip after Caleb's tackle and free and goal... " He's caught in a Windsor knot." -
Your right he doesn't. And more to the point, has no need to do it.

Did Fritta kick that goal on the Shane Warne stand side?
