I think we have a very even list of 4 parts. An equal ammount of elite players, average players, young unproven and for want of a better word...plodders. Also a few elite players have gotten older and lost pace and skills. Watching Richmond last night is a complete elite list. Small forward or two would be excellent. With Brayshaw having topsy turvy seasons snd Viney injuries, suddenly our glorified midfield looks lacking. Browns injury is a huge blow because Weid although has shown glimpses has in no way shown signs of being an elite forward. Trac, Gawn, Oliver, Lever, Salem and Langdon I think are the only players I would call elite.

Hell probably win the Coleman.

In hindsight, not making finals last year is reason enough for SG to go. He has been given a reprieve and I hope proves me so very wrong.

Not convinced about the 8. The club has done a stellar job in fixing our backline and did well to get brown. The problem for me is the large number of players who simply dont add a great deal or never seem to improve. One way or another this will be a telling time for the club and coach. Go Dees.

After we picked up b.brown I was feeling very positive about this season but am now feeling we will struggle to make the 8. Having Tomilison, Jones, Tmac and a couple of others in the next game by most reveals a lack of depth. Cant help injuries and while we have a high ammount of injuries, great clubs have the depth to cover them. We are not there yet and relying on too few. A shout out to May And Lever who gave their all against the dogs. Hopefully we can get many back sooner but also be more ruthless at delist time.

Hope hes all good not just for his sake but also the fact that we desperately need him.

This post is worrying because it does highlight a high number of average players. I would add Hunt to that list. Thats seven 75 plus gamers that dont deliver.

Maybe, but I was hoping for more effort than Its the lack of depth todays game revealed worries me as well as the fact several senior players seem all at sea. Props to May , Lever, Gawn, Fritter and Nibbler. Not enough though.

Great clubs have depth and cover outs. We cant. They also wield the axe when necessary. We dont.
