  1. It was unusual that the saints smashed us in centre clearances and we won. If we had dominated in this area we would have won by a big margin. Im sure we will turn this aspect around today.
  2. Who would have guessed that after the Bulldogs game that we would be playing footy in SEPTEMBER.?
  3. I am a little concerned about Papley. Im not sure who gets the gig but I hope they shut him down. One day Weid is going to breakout and kick a big bag of yummy goodies. Hope it is today. Funny time slot. We better win because its not a good look being 3 sheets to the wind b4 5. 6 goal margin in our favor which is the same number that Weid kicks as well as the number of comfort franks I eat b4 halftime and the square root of Oliver's possies.
  4. Dont hold back there.
  5. Lockhart is a quality player and I would like to see him in. That aside, Im very happy with the changes. Hoping someone can shut Papley down who can be very dangerous. Only one more sleep.
  6. I say we deem it touched just to annoy all the saints supporters and the maggot that didnt award Trac the mark in the first place.
  7. Guilty as charged. They can keep him.
  8. To demonstrate just how wacky Bruce has got with his rhetorical questions, here’s a breakdown of everything from the Carlton v Collingwood match on Sunday.
  9. When I was 18 my mates older cool brother had one but he went through 3 engines and it was always in the shop. But bloody hell it was sex on wheels.
  10. The scene from madmen summed it up well. Regarding tonight's game that has no relevance, I am trying to determine if my hatred of hawthorn is more than my dislike of crows fans. I'll go for Adelaide to win.
  11. Maybe but I think getting a gun big forward player should be our main focus. Tmac cant really be relied upon and Jackson has much promise but is still young and inexperienced. The club has done a great job importing Lever and May giving us an outstanding defence, now lets create a more potent forward line please.
  12. Forgot about Bennell. Wirth a chance for sure.
  13. Please help. Theres a quarter to go....who do I need to support? Blues or pies?
  14. I always presumed he was a poor kick at goal but his stats and last night dont support this judgement at all. And yep having Gus in the centre gives flexibilty witb the Trac attack.
  15. Thanks for pointing out the facts although I dont think a goal a game isnt that high and I think he was played up forward more. Sad he was the leading scorer but kudos to him for it. In 2017 he was below several other players in goals scored but his stats are still good. Also Im impressed with his accuracy as its not something I associated with him. Maybe he shoukd be at Chf as much as possible.
  16. Your assessment of Maccas post is mostly on the money too. I was wondering whete all or goals would come from not that there were many. Thank goodness for Trac who I wouldnt pick as our leading scorer prior to last night.
  17. Yep Vanders is really struggling. I think he belongs up forward. Hannan did have a poor game but I reckon he has played quite a few poor ones this year and like a few has lost his old form. Lockhart was stiff but must come in to replace Hibberd. If the latter is ok then for Omac who wasnt great. (Seems slow like his brother) sorry Mrs Mcdonald. Pickett needs to develop and Spargo after 2 rippers has evened it out with 2 below par but Im not sure who to replace either of them. This Highlights our lack of fast small players
  18. Maybe Salem. Not arguing with your assessment or about the talent in your list but a premier side needs more than 8 players that are certain starts. Who is missing from 2017. Tmac...Hogan..Jetta?
  19. With May in the backline and Trac in the middle maybe Weid will rise to the occassion and become elite as well? The other two have taken some time before reaching new heights. This is not a criticism of SW as he has been good. That 2nd goal of his was a glimpse of his huge talent. Just hoping that he will become a super full forward or chf. Most premiership sides have a 60 goal plus star forward. I know we have Jackson but should we go shopping for a big forward star like we did with May for our backline?
  20. Interesting that Trac was pretty quiet in the doggies game. He excelled in the 3 games before it. Last night he didnt totally dominate (15 Disposals v average of 25 in the previous 3 wins) but he was lethal with his disposal with 4 great goals. He really is becoming elite and a big factor of our wins. One commentator expressed joy in his new ascendency. We have all been waiting for it. To be honest he hasnt been a great player in the past (above average) but I feel he will continue to be more and more like Dangerfield and be a major part of future success. Apologies to the poster I corrected in calling for Trac to spend more time up forward (my suggestion was Oliver for this as he is a or was a more accurate kick). You were correct. Full credit to Trac for fixing this part of his footy. That first goal was a beauty only to be surpassed by his last. I also sense he cares about the club and not just the $. Thanks Christian.
  21. Will Brown get selected again? He was vertainly serviveable but gee I miss Jackson. Loving Rivers.
  22. Fair call. Maybe not Jones but his Wagmer call was good.
