Prior to the start of the season Weid was still an unknown commodity in my book. True he had a couple of good games in our previous finals campaign but had not broken out. Tmac was woeful last year and I guees they were banking on him to recapture his previous form. Thats a big gamble. Jackson turned out to be very good but he is young and inexperienced and then got injured. So in effect , disregarding Jackson, the club said okay then, we have two tall frwds. They must have had a crystal ball telling them that tmac was going to return to his old self and weid will get better. Well Weid did get better but he is not at a Coleman level yet by a fair way. Hogan and Garlett left and the club wasnt too concerned about replacing them. How did the club that spent a fortune on the backline forget we need to score goals as well?

They didnt look like runners to me.

What do we have to look forward to? 4 things. 1.The delisting of so many players that have wasted our time and money. 2.Even better: the sods that chose them. 3.The return of a few faithful comitted players that hopefully will be surrounded by new ones that help them out. 4. Footy played with a modicum of effort and passion.

Glad he said Anb. Bloke should have been culled 2 years ago. Sums up the club.

That was just so poor. Same as wans game. Weak half hearted tackles...no run and spread...hospital handballing...too many passengers. Freo with nothing to gain showed us how you play the game. This club. Just wow.

Anb as usual missing half the game. Should never have been selected. Not alone. Im afraid we are all know coming to realise that we only have a handful of quality players. The others are mostly fillers. Time for a complete (another) rebuild.

Yep that was a ripper but unfortunately I didnt get to that one. Was there for his first which as you know was the qb as well. No happy memories from that one.

Well its going to be interesting to watch how a couple of the new inclusions go. Also keen to witness how the 2 ruckmen experiment works. If both on they will be hard to man up. My reservation with Max up fwrd is his lack of goal accuracy so Im hoping its the hybrid. I do think we will win this. The boys have been sufficiently berated. Hoping for a long time for Weid to kick a bag. Please let it be tonight.

Thought Id post this hear rather than the Hannan goal footage thread. Of that footage 3 out of 4 of the names in Salem, Tmac, Melksham and Hannan are not a shadow of their form today. Even Salem has gone backwards. What happened in such a short period that we have gone from prelim to this?

Basically we need to be ruthless and cut quite a few from the list almost to the point of rebuilding. At this stage we seem to be going in circles.

Should be a lock for sure. Has been very good. Baffling that poor performers are gifted games but this bloke is left out.
