3 goals in 32 seconds - the quickest 3 goals ever?
It was an incredible quarter . When dogs kicked onto a nineteen point lead with Bont having a good day I really thought we would lose. True 19 points isn't huge but given we smashed the first quarter we seemed to have totally slowed down. The one thing that has been different about this club is how many times we have come back from being down. Not just scorewise but also our momentum. So many games this year Mfc of old would have rolled over. But to comeback like that and add those three junktime goals I knew we had won. It was a thing of beauty.

Must be close if not. I'm no stats man but I'd be happy to wager a lot that its certainly the case in a GF.

Not for the first time either. Which is why I preferred him selected over JJ. Our first goal...Tracs was similiar but perhaps Trac wasnt as far out. Its not all timing...it shows a lot of strength in the legs. Sparrow is a strong player. Had a great second half. He may be a future Trac.

If you were a dogs supporter with the ball in our fwd line with a minute to go you would be thinking dont let them get a goal. But three. 😁

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
No doubt this is an incredible team. I do wonder how much depth we have. I would hate to see a player poached but I think we probably have another five or six quality player who could fit right in. I doubt we will have another run of 2018 injuries but we were very lucky this year. Then again if we keep recruiting like we have then there's very chance we be a force for the the next decade. We are also a fairly young side except for Max. I hope we can keep Jackson and Kozzie. We will really start to have a lot of new young fans join us and the future looks very bright.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Well considering how long we have waited....its not too greedy to want at least back to back. This is a team that is fairly young or at lest poised age wise to have more success. Given the way we carved up all the other finalists it would be not much of a leap to do the same next year. How nice to enter a season with that sort of confidence in our team

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
What a great player this chap has become. Our leading goal scorer for the year and SIX in the Granny. Just wow. Hes a lightweight that scores like a heavyweight. That goal he kicked after flying high.....the ball coming out the back.....him keeping his feet and getting ball to boot at warp speed was supreme. Also fixed his inaccuracy and kicked 6 and 2.....one of them a poster.

Is your life complete now?
I can see how people crave back to back flags. In our case its fair due to the bulk of supporters who couldnt go to due to bloddy covid. For me it hasnt decreased the joy of winning a flag in the slightest but it would be wonderful for most of us to see one in person. Plus I could get used to this winning feeling,

The turning point
Gus taking that incredibly brave mark and then goal.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
JUNK TIME GOALS. How often has our club given up a goal in the dying stages of a quarter. Almost like clockwork over the decades its happened like a curse proving itself. This years has been very different and the last three goals in the last minute of the third were the sweetest junk time goals ever. The dogs looked powerless and we just slammed home not one..not two but THREE in under 60 seconds. I felt the flag coming home after those.

I wonder how many honestly thought we were going to lose at some point. I am guilty as charged and feel ashamed for the lack of faith. We have comeback so many times this year and always finished strong. But that finish was incredible. It was like the dogs were spectators. The centre clearances over the touted best midfield was entertainment par excellence.

I thought we were gone. But a few posters did point out we would come home strong. But I didn't expect that. It was like a training drill.

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
I dont even know how this win happened. Like the cats game in r23..i had conceded defeat. But thuh en all of a sudden we exploded. I feel guilty and proud. Thats flag number 13. Omg. Im all at sea. Trac is an absolute star. We were twenty points down and then BANG. This team doesnt know when they are beaten.
