Looking forward to tonight's clash and next week against the swans. Revenge for knocking us out last year and somewhat of an insight as to how much we have improved. Also round four with Kossie back in. I guess every round is exciting when we have a team like this. I really think we can win a flag again this year. For some strange reason I wasn't devastated missing out last year. I think I was still happy with the 21 win. Maybe the team was as well. But now we are all hungry again.

This is a big game. Too early on to be season defining and also a tough one to be back on the road. But we travel very well and certainly have the motivation to beat them for beating us in the final last year. A win up there will be huge and I think we will. With Jv back our midfield and dynamic ruck combo will be simply too strong. Bbb is firing and Fritta will be itching to get on the scoreboard. Tmac to get back to his best and take a bucket of marks. Can't wait.

It's funny how rivalries develop in the game. Apart from the traditional ones it's interesting to see new ones like dogs and lions to a lesser extent developing. I think it will be a great game. Sad Kozzie is out but hopefully with some other stars returning will balance it out. Can't wait for this one.

Not to underscore Jake's efforts which were huge given the doggies touted fwd line but Max was easily best on ground, followed by Trac and then Kozzie.

If Tmac doesn't get up and May plays, could we swing Petty to chf given Tommos good form. If May, Salem, Fritta and JV are all serious contenders then we have an almost enjoyable headache for selectors.

It's frustrating to have him out especially with the next two teams we are facing. I did admire that he didn't disappear after the incident but rather seemingly played even better. I'm sure he will learn from it and come back and continue to star. Just hope it's with us for the next ten years.

Really crossing my toes he's OK. I know he has his detractors but he was very instrumental in our 21 flag. Even if he doesn't always seemingly play a starring role he will always take the best defender and free up other fwds to play a big part. It can't be a coincidence how many more wins we have had by a huge margin with him in then out. His comittment and passion is huge. He would play on one leg if he could and for all we know probably has at times. All for younger talent being played and developed but Tmac is still definitely in our best 22.

I think Max has been working really hard on his goal kicking abilities. He was not my choice of players to be kicking for the 21 minor premiership against cats but has since been a lot better.
